I watched a movie on the plane yesterday, Denial, about the trial of a holocaust denier in England (he sued someone who disparaged him for defamation and they successfully argued the statements in question were true, which because of England's laws the defense had to prove to win).

I wonder if mongidig is David Irving?
I don't play football in the NFL. I am an analyst of the NFL.

The Evergreen scandal? I've posted on it some in the conservative forum thread and it appears to be a ****storm. Probably ought to wait a see how things pan out.
Leftist scum acting like scum isn't surprising, is it?
The only sad thing is normal men standing down to beta males and women with blue lipstick. Bring the pain, I say. Let them riot and let them expose themselves for what they are.
We sail tonight for Singapore
We’re all as mad as hatters here
I’ve fallen for a tawny moor
Took off to the Land of Nod
Drank with all the Chinamen
Walked the sewers of Paris
I danced along a colored wind
Dangled from a rope of sand
You must say goodbye to me
We sail tonight for Singapore
Don’t fall asleep while you’re ashore
Cross your heart and hope to die
When you hear the children cry
Let marrow bone and cleaver choose
While making feet for children’s shoes
Through the alley
Back from Hell
When you hear that steeple bell
You must say goodbye to me
Wipe him down with gasoline
Till his arms are hard and mean
From now on boys this iron boat’s your home
So heave away boys
We sail tonight for Singapore
Take your blankets from the floor
Wash your mouth out by the door
The whole town is made of iron ore
Every witness turns to steam
They all become Italian dreams
Fill your pockets up with earth
Get yourself a dollar’s worth
Away boys, away boys, heave away
The captain is a one-armed dwarf
He’s throwing dice along the wharf
In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is King
So take this ring
We sail tonight for Singapore
We’re all as mad as hatters here
I’ve fallen for a tawny moor
Took off to the Land of Nod
Drank with all the Chinamen
Walked the sewers of Paris
I dranked along a colored wind
Dangled from a rope of sand
You must say goodbye to me
A conservative hearing "save the planet" from a liberal speaker is not the same as a minority student hearing "blacks are dumb" or "kill the Arabs" from a conservative speaker.
When a liberal speaker comes to speak at a college campus, conservative students might not like the speaker, but there is no valid reason for them to feel personally threatened or obligated to respond in some way.
A rightwing speaker coming to campus presents a different set of questions for many of the opposing students on campus. Minority students can feel justifiably threatened by the atmosphere created by some right wing speakers. They can reasonably view the invitation of that speaker as a sanctioning of hateful views of the speaker, as if the university itself is saying it's ok to threaten certain groups on campus. I don't think minority students, or those students who care about the welfare of minority students, should be burdened with formulating responses to the presence of those who promote violence and separatism.
Liberal speakers promote ideas like "respect women" or "treat black people fairly". A conservative might disagree with that message but has no cause to feel threatened by it.
A conservative speaker, like Ann Coulter from the clip, says things like we should nuke the entire Middle East. So if I am a student of Middle Eastern descent it is much more critical for me to have to decide how I am going to respond to such a presence. Having to worry about how the message of the right wing speaker might affect the campus, my physical safety, and deciding my personal responsibility to combat what I see as a dangerous message are the sort of burdens which are unfairly heaped on the favorite target groups of conservatives, namely minorities and women.

You don't think a simple google search would show some terrible and threatening things radical feminists have said about men? People supporting ecoterrorism? Terrible things said about white people? Support of Isreal? Support of Palestine? You don't think many people are shocked and hurt by talk of abortion? I'm sorry Deuce, free speech protects everyone's right to express themselves, despite anyone else's feeling, not just those you happen to side with. It's a fundamentally liberal principle that has served us well. You take it from one of us, you take it from us all.
