Before posting the Spank poll I decided that if it was clear people didn't want spank silenced then as far as I'm concerned the PU experiment failed (or at least produced results I don't care for) and I'm not particularly interested in continuing to mod this forum.

Ita not even particularly about Spank, but more that we have someone that clearly is a net negative to the forum and yet people continue to support for various reasons, most of which I think are silly (doesn't mean they are silly, just my opinion).

Over the next few months I need to reduce the time I spend on 2+2 and I'm not going to want to spend my remaining time following threads that are super painful to read.

I have a bunch more thoughts on PU that I might get into later, but figured I'd post this first.

And finally, this isn't meant as a great big I quit post and **** you to PU. I hope it sticks around in some form (although that'll obviously be up to Matt) and I'll keep participating in some threads.

I like you jj, but I think you've been assigned to mod a forum that's not meant to be modded.

Spank and I don't cross paths much in this forum, and I'm not at all aware of his current posting style or what it is that has so many in here so rustled.

But on principle, I'm opposed to anyone being exiled from here as it's against the spirit of unchained and goes against the entire reason for the creation of this forum.

Well atleast we know how many posters we have reading during one 24 hour period.

I nominate brianthemick for mod. I'd volunteer to do it, but nobody would laugh.

Or JJ could just stick around and become slightly more active than kurto as a mod and just post about stuff.

I actually think spank is good for this forum. Someone needs to take responsibility for constantly pointing out all of the scumbags around here who are the actual net negatives that make reasonable conversations impossible.

This is unchained, I think it goes without saying that we have to take the good with the bad in here. There are pros and cons to no modding but we know what we're getting into when we come in here.
