Stop the BS ACR: Cashout Problem Stop the BS ACR: Cashout Problem

So I initiate a small withdrawal from my account to try and better familiarize myself with using Bitcoin and it gets cancelled.

The reason: I need to provide ACR with credit card authorization forms for each of the cards I have used to deposit over the past year, as well as copies of the cards themselves.

Just a small, simple question: Why didn't they require this information when they took my money? They had no problem taking my deposits, but when I want to make a small withdrawal (far less than I have deposited over the past year) there is a problem.

The Customer Service rep referred me to the website and the reasons for this. Give me a break. I deposit a ton of money, then want a small withdrawal, I'm not trying to scam you.

It's stupid BS like this that gives sites a bad reputation in this business.

No it's security measures like this that help prevent money laundering, credit card fraud that sort of thing. Instead of creating a thread like this and whining about it why don't you just what they ask, get your money? Remember their security measures also are protecting you too. Btw this is standard procedure for many if not all sites.

Um I don't know, maybe it gives a person who's credit card might be compromised a chance to see the charges and do a charge back rather than have the criminals a chance to cash out right away? Doesn't really matter why the networks, and I mean all networks, do it this way. I am just glad they have some systems in place to help protect everyone. You're answer still doesn't answer my question of why you post here and are whining about it rather than just do the simple thing to get your funds. The only reason I can think of is that it wasn't your card to begin with or you had someone transfer you money. Congrats on the cash out btw!

I've never heard of this and I've been playing for like a decade. Utility bills and what like copy of drivers license I think were standard. Credit card info is new to me. I can see a money laundering check if he was depositing a ton of money and then withdrawing a bunch too. I was thinking of credit card fraud check when I first read this.

If you play on a site that lets you deposit with a debit/credit card without requesting a copy of it to make sure it's yours you probably should find another site to play on. Not that I've ever played or heard of one that doesn't require this, but if said site existed and doesn't care about themselves getting chargebacked and losing money, they probably aren't too worried about anything that happens to you as a player either.

Yeah but if your IP address changes daily or you are logging from a different location, they need some kind of verification. They have always asked for front and back copy of the credit card.

What if it's a netspend pre paid visa card? I've used multiple ones this year because I'll use them once and then throw them away

Just do what they are asking? My last bitcoin c/o this week was received in under 24 hours.

amazing.

Email support about it, but in the future, anytime you use a card, even prepaid, you may as well just send it in to security to avoid issues when going to cash out. I used to use the Netspend cards for Merge and they would try to give me a hard time if I didn't have it to send a copy, save yourself the hassle.

I've never even cashed out here cuz I'm a fish these days, but in my case if I decided to cash out I don't even have the same card anymore. They upgraded to chip cards a while back. I'm curious what they would tell me and what hoops I'd have to jump thru to deal with this situation.

For what it's worth, it is on the website, if you look for it. You shouldn't have to look for it. It should be linked when depositing, imho.
