How can we answer you when we don't know what your personal standard is for "better"?

Is bovada softer player pool , does extra rake back on true poker make up for that difference ?

It is nearly impossible to answer your questions without knowing what games and limits you play on.

lol at all you people responding in this thread. You have got to be kidding me, Bovada is better and it isn't even close unless you just absolutely hate anonymous tables. TT2T you even have an added bonus of the rake back you will be getting on top of already playing on a soft site.

Most of the people saying "bovada is a soft site" cant even beat poker. They just hear alot of people saying its soft so they repeat the same slogan. Thats why bovada has so much traffic, people hear "its soft" and run to it. Those same people are the ones who blame losing on rigged rng's or variance. They refuse to look at their game play and plug their own leaks. i'd be willing to bet that 10% or less of the people on bovada are winners.

after coming from this site to bovada I can say that bovada is much easier but the game pace is much slower and you get no rake back. This site is good if you want to play a lot of tables and get rake back. This site is noticeably harder though than bovada and if you are a winning reg people will find out fast and you won't get much action heads up. Both sites have pretty lousy software compared to pokerstars.

Bovada also has way better tourneys - cheap entries for massive prizes similar to pokerstars.

I only play heads up NL50 and tourneys $10 - $30 though - can't say anything about 6max or higher limits but poker training sites are saying bovada is soft at higher levels.

Bovada sucks... Anon plus faulty rng, plus no HUD = bs site. I don't think it's softer than WPN tho, but it's hard to tell with anon. I think people play bad on purpose on bovada sometimes, because you can't leave lasting notes. If bovada allowed outside HUD and got rid of anon, it would be best site by far.. That's never happening tho.

WPN has the brightest future of all US facing sites. Player transfers and decent support and actual cashouts.. Now to just fix the tourney structures...

I heard bovada is legit rigged. The owner apparently said he doesn't want the sharks to win all the money fast and kill the action, and that allins are favorite the players who deposit more. Can anyone confirm?

I can confirm this is not true. Earlier this year on Bovada I FT'd the 100k 2 times in the same month. I 4table PLO100 20 hours a week and all sunday MTT's, I've done well there and made several cash outs. Bovada's certainly not rigged so players can't win. Yes its there goal to have more recreational players. They maintain this player pool by making it discouraging to grinders. The only rake rewards you can get are tournament ticket entries. You can only play 4 cash tables at a time, 4 sit and goes at a time, and iirc 21 mtts at a time (not sure the exact number for mtts.) Also if your playing mtts the 5 min breaks are not after every hour of the clock, but instead 1 hour after the tourney started. This means you can have 1 tourney on break and the other 5 are still playing.

Heres an example

Because of all the hassle lots of players chose to do elsewhere. I know several people who play for a living on bovada, and I have done quite well there myself. If you're a bonus clearing whore or a rake back grinder WPN is a better option. Bovada isn't rigged, and they pay out quickly. I've never heard of a player not receiving a check or a check bouncing. I'm not going to say anything bad about the WPN, I have an account there too, I just don't use it anymore because I have a mac

Also Ibooboo GTFO of this thread and off 2+2 forever.

Just because you didn't hear about it, it doesn't mean it never happens. It does happen on all poker sites that still serve the US.
