Betonline has an interesting rake race which considers Noth amount raked and place finished. Check it out, I liked it when I played on it

Yeah? I don't remember. I played Mostly on Poker Stars, I could never win on FTP for some reason , I did like their 6-max SNG's though. I quit playing there before black Friday cause of how shady things were getting.

sng madness was a rake race that benefited only the regs that were grinding in that two hour block. earning points based off of your finish position was meaningless unless you were 16 tabling for two solid hours.

i do agree that battle of the planets allowed anyone the chance to win, but if wpn offered an equivalent, the rewards would be drastically smaller.

battle of the planets was a luxury stars could afford.

the ability to earn an unlimited amount of points is still in essence a rake race. it just becomes a competition of skill amongst regs and keeps recreational players on the outside looking in.

It will never happen but yeah I would have expected a much smaller scale. Still would be nice though.
If nothing else but a Freeroll it would be nice to have a fair competition to see who had the best run for the week.

I know the point is just to bring in more rake but supposedly they are doing it for the rec players, I don't know how a rake race helps anyone but high volume grinders.

They are doing it so they make more money. Dont know where you got that they doing for recs.

To be fair any rake race is something that heavily benefits regs and nobody else that much.

What I am wondering is will Jackpot Poker SNGS be given double points during happy hours?

I believe the concept is something like:

Regs in rake race
Regs at tables
Lobby full of tables
Rec downloads software
Rec sees lobby full of tables
Rec deposits and plays
Rec has constant action

We're working on the server for Jackpots right. If it's not done in time for you to play the game or whatever, we'll get your buy-in refunded.

Husng count towards SnC one time?
05-26-2015 , 04:44 PM
Well the Sit&Crush is just going to be the $40 JP race......Your only chance to be in the top 5 prob you will have to play those games only....The point point scale is totally against any regular or turbo games. I hope some adjustments are made or it will be pointless to grind sng's anymore at least in my case thanks WPN
05-26-2015 , 04:47 PM
RIP regular/turbo sngs :/
05-26-2015 , 05:27 PM
Mtts are too long, sngs are to short (cuz they are all JP). Cash games too reg infested.

No software updates outside of slot-like poker games over the past year. They've managed to create slot machine spin-to-get-ins and slot machine 3 man SNGs....

Pretty close to being done with the site. They offer no value to me.

Starting May 26th (after downtime that morning), Jackpot Poker will contribute to Sit & Crush. As with other sit and gos, WPN will contribute 25% of each fee to the Sit & Crush rake race. As usual, players get 5 points in the rake race for every $1 WPN contributes from their rake.

For example:

A player participates in a $40 Jackpot Poker game. The fee is $2.40. WPN gives $0.60 to the Sit & Crush rake race. Each player gets 3 points towards the Sit & Crush leaderboard.

Sit & Crush Payment Tiers:

Starting May 23rd, the Sit & Crush cash payout distribution will change to a tier payout system.
There are four payout tiers in Sit & Crush.
• Tier 1: $1,250
• Tier 2: $500
• Tier 3: $125
• Tier 4: $50

Every $3,875 $4,844 in the Sit & Crush cash prize pool, the prize pool adds:

• One Tier 1
• Two of Tier 2
• Five of Tier 3
• Twenty of Tier 4
• Reseed next race with $969

Residual funds (between multiples of $3,875 $4,844) as Sit & Crush grows are applied to the top places in Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4—maintaining each respective cap amounts.
Small correction for OP, and for the website.

Absolute joke the leader starting today in Sit&Crush had around 270 points and in 5hrs after the floodgates open on JP tables the $40 JP table grinders are already 1 2 earning 450 and 300points in 3 hrs.....So if you played regular and Turbos you have no chance even a big day grinding 200 is a ton...and they have the nerve to make this change midweek of the race can someone from WPN please tell me how that is fair to non HYPER grinders......At least tell me you may consider separate Leaderborads for Hypers

The fact that this was going to be introduced after a couple days of a race is why I announced this before this week's race started.

We plan to ensure similar stakes/structures are competitive. We may need to tweak points here or there. We'll see how this goes after a week or two.
