Server wise we have not had any issues since the week of our main event around December 14th, we have been working since then to avoid problems of that kind .Please note the following : When our servers are affected in any form of way everything gets hurt by the impact, it will just not go after one or two tables in specific.
In order to have the application running properly without suffering lags any disconnection issues you must have the following requirements: The latest version of the Internet explorer browser (All windows are opened using just that one), also the latest version of Java and flash and also try to run regular maintenance procedures on the Ie browser erasing cookies and temporary files.
Their response is probably true and accurate, but it overlooks the real problem.
They have built a system that isn't resilient enough to function properly with the internet connections that most of their customers use. Then they blame their customers.
It's normal for consumer cable and DSL lines to have brief periods of low bandwidth or no bandwidth. But when these interruptions happen it takes anywhere from thirty seconds to however long it takes to close and re-open the application for WPN to let us back in the game.
This happens on the other sites, but not as often as it seems to happen here.
Home internet connectivity isn't perfect. No one expects a product that would somehow work if the user lost internet connectivity entirely for more than a few seconds. But brief service interruptions are normal. It's the provider's responsibility to create a product that works in that environment, instead of blaming their own customers when there is an issue.
