I agree that you should get refunded, and probably how this will roll out is, the tournament will finish normally and then they will have a period of time where they will issue refunds on a case by case basis, because obviously there is going to be people taking advantage of this to get a refund, so what I was saying is be sure to have proof, and I'm sure wpn will be smart and refund everyone who should be.

I honestly don't know what they should do. I have an above equity stack (17k right now even though I lost like 3-6k or so in chips to disconnects) but what's happening is just not fair. I've had spots where I wanted to check stats on people before deciding whether to call an all in, only to realize I have no time bank and no time to make that decision. On top of that there are widespread disconnects. I don't really it's realistic to expect them to both pay the prize pool AND give out refunds on a case by case, but hey if they do I'd be very happy with them.

i ended up buying in directly but I am defintely lagging....its playable but I am worried if I get disconnected I will be unable to log back in again

What's your point? Half the players at my table were out for 2 hours....we played 4 handed...it was a joke.

Must be nice to not have connection issues while everyone else gets disconnected a ph cked over....you're so good at poker...you deserve prize money.

You're misunderstanding me. Someone else said they think that the tournament is going to run, and that they'll handle refunds for people who had trouble on a case by case. I said I'd be OK with that, not that that's what I think is most fair. I think they should just cancel and give people their buy ins back, and also that I'm not sure what they should do.

So basically I've said everything and nothing all at the same time. I don't know what to think haha.

well i just busted. i did not get a fair shake in this tourney. i will be petitioning for my refund. i am sure they are swamped now so i will wait until tomorrow to talk to someone. for a solid 1:45 mins i was missing 70 percent of my hands. if i am refunded then no harm, no foul. i commend them for putting on this series. i mean even with the issues theres 1700 entrants. it's been a long time since we saw this kind of turnout. i actually want to thank them for trying, and hope they issue me a refund and attempt something similar again when they get the server issues under control.

I can't see them refunding everyone and paying out the prize pool, especially with hyping this up for like 3 months. Probably will pay out prize pool and then deal with the issues on a case-by-case basis.

Messed up, but probably how it will go.
