deposit bonus deducted from rakeback? deposit bonus deducted from rakeback?

Is this common? As I'm clearing my deposit bonus, the released bonus amount is being deducted from my accrued rakeback. Is this how it is supposed to work? If so, I see no benefit to this program.

Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks!

Is the amount of rakeback being deducted even with the amount of rakeback?

Ill have to check again later today... I thought so, but now I'm wondering if the bonus increments ($10) are deducted from my actual rake, not rakeback. In that case, I'd still be making some money on rakeback, although not much, while clearing the bonus.

This used to be common practice for sites pre Black Friday. If I remember correct full tilt used to deduct your deposit bonus amount from your rake paid ammt.

Its been standard to deduct bonus from your rake paid before calculating rakeback forever.

Them taking the deposit bonus off of your actual rakeback payment is more what I'm wondering about.

how rakeback is calculated: [(Ring Rake + Tournament Fees) - (Bonus Earned out)] * 27%.

Is this standard practice?

So:
Tourny fees = $10
Bonus earned = $2

$10 - $2 = $8, $8 * .27 = $2.16 (as opposed to $2.70)

So when we are clearing a bonus we only get 21.6% rakeback? So maybe I shouldn't have switched to rakeback?

It is common on almost all sites and you may want to add the cleared bonus amount on top of your calculations as well as form of rakeback.

yeah so you're getting $4.16 instead of $2.70 in your example... it's actually usually not that good though... it's more like $3 instead of $2.70 most of the time.
