I was wondering something since i joined ACR 2 months ago..
you guys claim that the beast was created so everyone can enjoy prizes etc, but why don't you make 2 separates 'beasts' or something special, like the rake you take from micros stay for micro prizes and high rollers have their own 'beast'. It's kinda sad to be grinding and wanting to stay at a limit and being raked for something unreachable for something at a lower level, while still paying something so others can enjoy don't you think so?

After the players in the stream were hostile he said sorry and promised micro players something was coming for micros

3 days later they removed the noobie best micros and promised to replace with something but never did

the beast is the ceo baby and he wont change micro because he only cares about ballers

I just want to jump in and say that is not the case.

The micros are the foundation of any site.

However, the beast will not change.

While I agree with you separate leaderboards would be great I need to point out one major flaw in your argument. The beast is a percentage of rake taken by WPN that is given back to the players. If the beast was to be taken away you would still be paying the exact same amount. That rolling ticker you see on the client is money that WPN is putting back into the poker community and while I do think it needs tweaking, when you take a look at the big picture the positives far out weight the negatives.

I can't claim to know the in depth details of the beast but i'll speak to the Sit N Crush. While in the sit n crush it might seem as though that the people that chase the $1250 get the biggest advantage that is far from true. The highest rakeback % by far is the lowest tier of the $50 + $55 ticket prize. So while marketing and optics might not be great telling micro players to get 99th place the value is there.

The beast could be completely different and this not be the case so don't shoot me :P

i totaly agree with you in the term that it's nice of them to do that type of 'promotion', but in term of fairness between players, i don't find it quite fair. Why not just rake from med stakes for the beast and rake lower for micros so more people come to the site? I mean even if someone decides to mass table hours of NL10 he wouldn't be able to be in the leaderboard.

Like I said having different leaderboards would be nice but thrash is right. The players that benefit the most for both S&C and the beast are the ones at the bottom of each payout tier. They actually get a higher percentage effective rb as they actually have to put in less to get more back as the higher volume players are the ones who make the prize pool grow more. So while the beast may not benefit you personally there are players who benefit greatly from others who are pushing themselves to reach the top of each tier.

Max Cut posted a chart explaining this regarding S&C which also applies to the beast. It explains what I am trying to say very well.

How do you want to focus to play player when 3/4 of the player pool are bots 10 tabling the same limit every hour of the day lol. I play mostly on 888 and i'm profitable up to 50NL, i'm playing atm on ACR because i got my money stuck there along clearing my bonus then i'm going out of there.
