why does redside bans matter that much? if you leave the OPs open and start counterbanning the enemy team you will trade 1 for 2 OPs right?

I think a lot of teams haven't really been forced out of their comfortzone, I don't expect teams like SKT to change as they probably think that their Edge is huge and that the OPs are the only curveballs you can throw.
For the other teams especially against SKT, I expect changes in P/b.

Them beating a Korean team other than SKT wouldnt be an upset. EDG would likely be a coinflip vs KT and a slight fav vs Koo. And Fnatic would be a slight dog vs KT and a flip vs Koo.

The only upset left in worlds is if somehow SKT went out before the finals or if Fnatic or Koo beat SKT in the finals.

Fnatic is better than KOO, imo there is actually a huge difference between KT and KOO. I just don't think KOO is all that good.

Koo is likely the worst best of 1 team in their bracket and that is also why many that havent seen them alot believes that they arent that strong. Their strength comes in perfect prep and execution of their opponent specific plans in a best of 5 scenario.

Thats why i have them as even with Fnatic and slight dogs to the rest.

Depends on if you get the good Koo or the bad Koo.

They had 2 big win streaks during season but also stretches where they were awful

Korea is best of 3 series so korean teams have by far most true series experience

KOO has to be a favorite vs fnatic in a bo5. Maybe not by a lot though

I still think EDG is going to hold up very well in Bo5s. They have very good coaching and seem to adjust between games very well.

The bracket seems to be setting up for SKT rolling to the finals on the top side and an absolute brawl on the bot side. Bot side is going to be 3 very even series. I'd prob go EDG > KT > FNC >> KOO in terms of equity for getting to the grand finals, but whoever gets out of it will hopefully give SKT a worthy challenge.

KOO are very meta dependant.
they were the best team in the world in the start of the season and there is absolutely no lack in talent. GAOTrilla.
if this patch is good for them, which is still unclear to me, they are worth more than fnc.

also, can we stop talking in OP champ terms and start talking in OP comps... please?
