He should have been disallowed from coaching them to begin with. But to change it right before worlds is unfair to SK.
I don't believe the rules actually changed at all, once it was announced that Worlds would be in Korean it was also noted that it would be under OGN/Kespa rules where coaches are part of the team and no guests are allowed.
Riot didn't allow him to coach before that point either, he was just a guest on set, not a coach. SK was working around Riot to begin with. Had SK done due diligence they would have known this, Riot announced everything relevant SK just didn't think to investigate this (admittedly an easy mistake). The rules however were in place IMO.
