I'm not even sure it's that big of a deal. If an Asian player came to na and made an account called Alabamayeehawyall would feel some great slight was made against your county? But either way fine him all his worlds pay or suspend him for the next split but don't ruin all the hard work and hopes for the other 4 guys.

I think TSM getting such a soft group has some legs since TSM getting out of groups has a lot of value to RIOT.
The S.K coach thing is just RIOT being a terrible organization when it comes to having set rules. Rules are only enforced when they can hurt the company RIOT and not when it hurts the E-sport.

Tsm had a 1/3 shot at dodging korea not exactly a huge longshot they also got the toughest pool 3 team

I mean they could have got fanatic omg dp but the softness is almost entirely just dodging korea and sk being idiots

Tsm not getting korea and samsung destined for semis does raise some rigged alarms

It's really lame that the finals aren't going to be SSW vs SSB. That would have been such a high level and sick final.

Instead it's just going to be one of the SS's stomping some mediocre (in comparison) team.

I don't believe the rules actually changed at all, once it was announced that Worlds would be in Korean it was also noted that it would be under OGN/Kespa rules where coaches are part of the team and no guests are allowed.

Riot didn't allow him to coach before that point either, he was just a guest on set, not a coach. SK was working around Riot to begin with. Had SK done due diligence they would have known this, Riot announced everything relevant SK just didn't think to investigate this (admittedly an easy mistake). The rules however were in place IMO.

Seems like only 2 matches worth watching tomorrow. 3rd and 4th matches should be good, with maybe some intrigue in LMQ vs. Fnatic. Really hope somebody can make a challenge to the Korean teams in these next 2 groups.

Lmq probably decides who gets 2nd in group c, they can take a game off omg or fanatic so only the kabum games are really bad imo

Cool vs Dade is the definite highlight of first day

Seems like a lot of people are really underestimating LMQ. I'm not saying they're going to win their group or anything, but I don't see how it's a foregone conclusion that they're finishing last in their group like some people seem to think.
