I've been spending some time learning all sorts of bursty glass cannon AP mids, but every time I actually get into queue, top never takes a bruiser, it's a constant parade of Kha'Zix, Rengar, Teemo, and Zed.

Last five:
Teemo, Kha'Zix, Kha'Zix, Zed, Tryndamere.

I think in terms of improving my ELO, calling to top would be best as it's where the biggest champion select throws are happening.

Certainly there's always someone that wants to play top and mid, but they also probably want to play a glass cannon assassin with no sustain.

When top goes glass-cannon I like going Noct jungle and building him full tank. So many people at silver don´t realize and focus me down cause they think im playing assassin noct.

In a 5v5 after I activate my shield, my locket and my randuins they finally kill me but by then there's only 1 or two of them left alive and 4 on my team.

i'm probably more qualified than anyone to answer this question having invented farm sona

the correct answer is Athenes->Tear->CDR boots. Sona with max CDR and infinite mana is downright terrifying. After that you want to go pure tank, sona doesn't really scale well at all with ap or anything, so probably randuins/banshees depending on the enemy team.

So I think I've found that the trick to Silver is just win lane at all costs. Games are so short that the only thing that really matters is the first 15 minutes, so trying to play passive for the late game is inevitably bad. Obv biased by running good, but won my last 3 games where I just decided I was going all-out in lane.

But seriously what I meant was that I usually tried to play pretty passively in lane and then try to clean up more late game, but that just doesn't work when games end at 25 mins.

no one ever builds crucible cause athenes is a billion times better - 20% CDR, 60 AP, and infinite mana for 100g more and all you lose is the 3 minute cooldown thing that's pretty much impossible to use anyway

Even if she gets stomped in lane(which is hard to do in itself as long as you have a solid support) once she gets Botrk + pd or shiv she is just ******ed strong. If game goes on 30min+ against a vayne it's pretty much gg.
Like the vayne mechanics arent even good at plat and she still crushes, so I'm sure she doesn't get banned in like bronze silver and low gold.

it looks/feels like shes good because shes really hard to deal with in solo q but her winrate isn't that high. Like solo q is still about dragon which vayne is terrible at
