Tough to assign percentage values to all of that. First of all, LOL sample size, and second of all, I don't keep a record about stuff like that. I would say 1 out of 10 games is a reasonable estimate for having a dude who is last pick, instalocking a 2nd mid, because "he called mid first".
I have given up on trying to talk reason into anybody. Too exhausting and obviously futile. I just don't talk at all anymore in champ select. I pick what's available when it's my turn to pick, and I let the raging just happen.
In game I keep chat to a minimum, too. When I support I tell where wards are, that I pinked river, etc. The rest can usually be done with pings. More often than not, when champ select was exceptionally toxic, I just mute all 9 other players from the get-go. Quite a peaceful experience.
