I'm very close to spending $35 on 5000 RP. I'm level 24 now and honestly can't picture myself grinding the IP necessary to a) buy more rune pages, b) buy more runes, c) buy more champions. It would just be a constant tug of war in my head about which I wanted to buy.

The 5000 RP can get me the 7 rune page bundle + 2400 RP to spend on future champs. Then all my IP can go towards cheap champs and runes.

Riot doesnt price champs based off power level, its based off release date mostly. Everyone wants the new champs so they are expensive. Ones that have been around since release keep getting their prices dropped.

How old are Vayne and Cait? I need an AD ranged badly. Dont like Trist or Ashe.

If I had paid RP I would have bought champs bundle(the digi coll pack with 1660 RP back).
You really need diversity in champs in case of bans or role taken.
I use only 3 rune pages one tank one AD one caster and it's enough for me.

you get all he old people.... well worth them tho for the variety....
i think ive spent close to $200 on this game.... **** me.

But putting money on to purchase the champions you want is normally a good idea. I mentioned on a previous page that I put $50 on and have just been buying on sale champions that I like which basically gets me 2x as many champs for the RP. Also bought a Rune page bundle which was probably the best thing you can buy once you get to ranked games.

I bought a champions pack and that's the only money I've spent on the game. I still only have 3 rune pages and it doesn't bother me. I have a caster page, AD page (with mana runes), and tank/jungle page.

If Vlad was still good then I'd have a problem, since none of the pages are good on him. But he sucks sadly, so I don't have to worry about it.

lol I have 12k IP that I haven't spent yet, jeez

I still think a 3 day boost is the best option if you can find a couple of days to just play some LoL. You have to play around 12 games at 50% win to break even, and if your decent you can get away with 9-10 games. If not make 10 smurf accounts and level them to 5, you get 975 rp and 40 win boosts which makes it almost worth it, and its totally worth it if you enjoy smurfing.

Also another bonus to snuffing is it provides a good environment to test out champions. You can play through all the free rotation ones and when your level three you usually have enough ip to buy one of the tier one champions.
