as did the thread in atf, i think there will be a lot of guitar discussion, but i hope that people that are having trouble or are proud of any music they create wouldn't hesitate to participate. if someone wants to post a 'i had a clarinet recital' thread, i feel they should feel welcome to do so without people jumping on them. i would want any 'help thread' that attract trolls that comment on how 'bad op sucks' or the like to be dealt with kind of like in the beginners forum. everyone learns differently and at a different pace so comments and suggestions should reflect where other think they are. with some knowledge it can be easy to see who is poasting fake threads or advice. anyway, this should just be a place where musicians of any kind can feel free to poast their stuff, questions, or gear without being berated. constructive criticism is important too, so there is a fine line between telling someone they suck and telling them your ideas on how to improve. until it becomes all out hating, i think good opposed discussion should be allowed to continue. music is not so granular that one is right and another is wrong. this type of thinking has made music progress throughout history, so it certainly shouldn't be discouraged here. anyway, those are some thoughts i have. i just look forward to this amazing forum. thanks guys.
