Hi all, have been playing 5CD for a few months on PokerStars.

Although I have been doing okay, I am always looking to improve. I hear that sites like DuecesCracked have good/interesting videos for other poker variations, I'm wondering if there's a) much 5CD on any such sites, and b) the quality of such videos?

I mainly play heads up on Ongame and its often an intense game that is hard to make anything useful out of. I might consider doing some some time.

Really? I had a subscription there for 1 year and I didnt spot them? Or are they added recently?

Yeah Soepegronte (Vingtcent) did them recently. A series called luck of the draw. Games like NL SD, PL 5cd, L5cd, Badugi were included.

Interesting. I assume there is not really anything new for me in those, except for badugi, but I always like to critique draw material(as Ive found only Nesmith C. Ankenys book to be good).

I have had videos for 5 Card Draw up on Realpokertraining.com since back in 2005. New ones have been added recently.

They are very well received and well reviewed. I have developed a system for playing Limit 5 Card Draw that consistently receives positive feedback.

There is also 5 Card Draw charts.

yeh I watched the 5cd limit/PL videos on DC when they 1st came out, They are very good but geared towards beginners.

It is my understanding that they will not be covering any more advanced topics as I think there probably isnt a demand for it- but would personally would love to see more done

However I think the true beauty of the game is it's inherent simplicity. I think it becomes a battle of razor thin range adjustments, and "soul reading" more quickly than other games.

But that is why I love it, it's easier to try to become an advanced 5cd player than an advanced HE player imho.

(edit: I guess I'm not really talking about nose-bleeds that I don't play, but we all know 3/6 L5cd is definitely easier than 3/6 LHE.)

Higher stakes 5CD is a leveling field and basically not much else. Most of the players play standard good and it is when someone is out of line it all gets interesting.
