Instead of one person playing one hand, you have two people playing one hand but they alternate streets.
Each team has two people.
Two cards are dealt face down to one person. He may not show the cards to his partner or discuss.
The player with the cards decides the first round of action. He either limps, opens or folds.
He then passes the cards to the partner who then sees the cards for the first time and then plays the flop.
The cards are passed back to the first player who then plays the turn.
The cards are passed back to the partner who then plays the river.
On the next hand, the partner is dealt the cards and he decides the first round.
At any time during the hand, the player may pass the cards back to his partner to finish the round, but he may do that only one time per hand and twice per orbit.
You can see how strong teams will have action that compliments each other's playing styles. Weak teams will be upset with how their partner plays.
