My question: Being a Red Pro do you have any suggestions/influence that you suggest to Stars that would help lure more players to Triple Draw?

I know it's not a game that would appeal to TV audiences in the way that NL has.

On a side note, I am really surprised that Dan N doesnt play in the big TD games since he wrote the section in SS2 on it.
I guess I could have some influence, never really tried to use it though.

Yea TD and mix games in general is awfull for TV, but well if people feel like the HS players play mix games rather than NL, they might follow.

I played with DN a couple of times in TD and mix games, if he played more I am sure both TD and mix games would get more popular since more ppl would try it.

Shrug I bet he could win in most lineups based on very little other than my speculation. He is a limit / mix player, his SS2 chapter errs on the tight side (a good thing in spewy games), and its my understanding (based on overhearing loud conversation during the TDL event last year) that he learned the game from Juanda, who was at my table, and played really freaking good.

i never met a frenchman willing to speak german when any alternative is available. in fact, the best way for an english speaker to get a frenchman to speak english (when his french is poor) is to offer to speak german as a compromise.

I am doing this well so people can ask me question, why dont you ask it here ? If you think its inapropriate to ask it here then its also the case with a PM. And no I wont stake you if that was the question

I dont think DN could be winning is most LU at 2/400+ from the little I played with him.

Do you know who is Juanda on PS DD ? If he is playing at all

Juanda is part of Team Full Tilt so he can't play on Stars.

No I definitely have no idea if Juanda plays the game online at all, I was surprised he played so well in the tournament because I suspected he rarely plays the game. But I randomly find out a bunch of the higher limit Stars mix / TD semi regs (not the guys that play every day but ones that pop in repeatedly) are well known guys so I guess it wouldn't totally shock me.

According to BG, Juanda was one of the biggest lowball winners in the world before the poker boom.

Does he ever play in Bobby's Room?

Glad to see you're doing well Seb...I can't believe you got your own well, lol.

Outside of triple-draw, who would you rank as the top players in each other game you play (games in the 8-game mix and other draw games).

Cya in Vegas.

seb86,

when did you start to realize that playing double gut shot hands like 763 might be a fold to EP raise and what was your thought process?

i had a friend develop a badugi calculator for multiple streets WITHOUT range calcs. regardless of this, how did you learn the math behind draw games? examples of a basic situations you broke down that you think apply to everyday play?

So wrong. Team Full Tilt is only their top players that has signed a deal for a part of the shares(I presume), including durrr, Ivey, Antonius and so on. There are so many more so called Red Pros that are not on such a deal that has no obligation to play on just FTP.

lol I dont think I ever did that (exept maybe during some tilted session at 5/T 2 years ago, but that was never my standard line)

I would be very interested in such a calculator as trying to break down situations without is not very easy.

I wont get into details on how I work on my game

Well HOSS TBF for LHE, probably gordo for PLO, S.ruthenberg for studs, joiso is very strong overall too.

townsend and CTS are very good players too, although they claimed to have resolved triple draw at some point and that they were so much ahead of the TD regs, played a bunch of 500/1k and then totally stopped and refused to play any regulars.

Shaun deeb is actually very good in badugi, he took me up on the HU and I am the one who ended up sitting out on him

lol I dont remember that hand but folding 2nd pair to a river push doesnt seem that shoking

Nah I def wouldnt play that kind of tournament again, I already play 6h+/day, I am gonna not waste the rest of my day playing nano stakes live.

Even in thailand where I was with a bunch of HS players, they wanted to set up a NL200$ home game, I never wanted to play, I just dont find it as much and the pace is wayyyyyyy too slow.
