Pot Limit Badacey Draw Question Pot Limit Badacey Draw Question

Basic question but i'm pretty new to the game. In a loose-passive pot limit game with a starting hand like A356Q do you want to be drawing 1 card with 6 outs to a really strong low and 3 outs to a really strong 2 way hand, or do you want to concentrate on trying to make your badugi first and draw 2 cards?

I often get myself in tough spots with these hands, where I play aggressively take 1 card, and then get played back at after the 1st or 2nd draw when I still don't have any made hand. Or I get freerolled when I make a good low but face big action from a strong badugi drawing to a low.

On the other hand in pot limit when you do make a strong low you can often force out marginal hands containing a badugi and scoop a decent sized pot without showdown.

I'd draw 2 even in a limit game and I don't think it's even close in a PL game. A 65 draw is not as good as you think it is - I would not be excited about having to call multiple pot sized bets if I made the second worst 6 for low and essentially nothing for badugi.
