Oh btw, there is no good reason to sit at multiple tables at the same level. just sit one until you get action at that table, then you can open another. it tilts me so hard!

sry i do that to not lose focus when i have many tables running and always have at least 1 table for hu action. I'll sit at 2 max per stake.

thats still twice as many as everyone else, and if everyone decides to sit 2 tables then the lobby will look like a bunch of bumhunters just waiting for fish and i feel like that will make new players less likely to play. it shouldnt be too tough to just open a new table when somebofy joins you at a table.

In fairness, I've seen capoch sitting at 2 tables at the same limit (but only one limit out of the 3 or so he was sitting at), I had thought there might have been a reason behind it other than bum-hunting, and wimet's explanation makes a bit of sense. The explanation I came up with was he was saying, "I'm happy to play 2 tables at this limit if you want".

Ya iv seen that recently too. my thoughts were that it was because he never seems to get action and is getting frustrated, but idk. i may just miss his games.

Poker Stars $28.78+$1.22 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball Tournament - t20/t40 Limit - 2 players

First Draw: (4 SB) (2 players)
BB draws 2, Hero draws 3

Second Draw: (3 BB) (2 players)

Final Pot: 7 BB
BB mucks A 9 7 6 3
Hero shows J 6 5 4 3 (Lo: J,6,5,4,3)

I patted flop because, in addition to villain thinking aces were low, there was this one hand where he drew 1 to JT97 three times (now that I think about it he probably just thought straights beat lows, since he usually drew pretty "smooth").

Ahh. Cos if villain doesnt play like that, opening 54xyz is super loose.

Lots of villains fold >40% to steal (lol including myself when playing against them), not opening 54xyz is super tight. Not sure how tight I should be opening against those who only fold 20-30%.

54xxx is a standard open.

Pat J is actually favorite against drawing two on the second draw, so it might be standard to pat as well.

After some expert HU TD training, I was amazed how wide the btn opening range should be. But it surely works

True, but a lot of times if your draw is decent, you'll have better equity/implied odds by redrawing. 6543 is a crappy draw that is an exception to the rule, so patting J6543 is better here even without the villain read, imo.

I saw that you took about 40BB in the last hour of play in a HU match...nice turnaround. PokerStars claimed $81.50 for that hour...bastards. Also I'm impressed/jealous that you are this high when a little over a year ago, you played HU vs. me a bit at $3/$6 to begin "learning the game". But I had about the same win rate vs. you as you did in the last hour you played TD tonight...LOL variance. Unfortunately, I mainly stayed close to $3/$6 til BF, while you moved forward.

The first time i played this game was less than a year ago, and i had such no clue what i was doing ahah. Could have also played higher by now if i didnt do stupid things like i did. But oh well, you learn from your mistakes i guess. What's your nickname?
