Hi All

Is it basically just Stars and nowhere else? Im interested in any mixed game variant that is HORSE or more games? I'm in the UK if that makes a difference.

if you're in the UK then stars is going to be the best place for mixed games at all limits imo.

Stars has proven themselves in the wake of Black Friday to be not only the world's largest poker room but to be at the top of the heap in terms of customer service and ethics.....why would you want to play anywhere else?

I can no longer play at Stars and refuse to play anywhere else since no other site can compare IMO.

My experience of their customer service has been very different, both historically and more recently. But that wasn't the point of the question...is there actually anywhere else to play?

Merge has horse that runs infrequently. A 6 player 5/10 horse game went for a few hours a couple days ago. This is rare though and usually the only action you see outside micros is hu.

Hi Dave,

I'm supremely jealous of your ability to play on stars. There are some other games on the merge network(2-7 TD, stud, and HORSE) but whether there funds are segregated is a mystery right now and the action is infrequent. If I was you I'd stick with stars but try out all the different structures(SNG, tournament, as well as cash). It fluctuated as to what was the best game, sometimes cash other times the Sit and Goes and tournaments.

Really? You are the first Ive ever heard of that has had a bad experience with their costumer support. Stars are so far ahead of the others is actually quite incredible. No one compares in any way shape or form. Just my 2 cents.

When it comes to your question there are no other that offer HORSE+ mixes. Merge have HORSE. Thats it.

I have tried to play more mixed games but the low traffic worries me.

Anyone still thinks mixed games will grow?

You would think that people wanted some variation in their poker (like in most home games). But online maybe most just multitable-grind for money, or play the game they have seen on TV (NLHE).

Mixed games wont get to the point where holdem is ever. You can however get to a point where your good enough to make money at 2-7 td for instance even though the pool of players is small and there will be more compotent players.

Mixed game MTTs offer good value.

Stars is the only place to play online let alone mixed games. Im from the uk and the vip system sucks for low limit players. Having rakeback paid directly into my account was the only reason i played at Full Tilt.

I'll never be putting money on any other site apart from pokerstars EVER

I played on Stars from when it opened. I've got quite a history to compare it to. Others sites may be worse but so is new Stars vs Old Stars.

Thanks all for the guidance on game availability. I don't see much point getting into my views on Stars. It would barely satisfy my SFW test; it certainly wouldn't for people who post here now.

I have wondered the same thing, being a US player, it is pretty mch imposible for me to find mixed games. I loved playing on stars (and when 8-game HU tournaments started i was a happy camper), but unfortunately i dont see any other site picking those games up like stars did. Even if sites did pick them up, I doubt thy would get any traffic, and I understand that. Even at its prime before BF i had trouble getting into more than 4 cash games at the 1-2 level in 8-game
