Hello. I have read about 2-7 on Super System II, Negreanu's chapter. Do you think that's enough to beat the first level on stars (0.10/0.20)?

Maybe. You can beat 30-60$ without reading any book and you can lose 10-20c reading all the books. But yes, if you apply some of the strategy there you can beat 10-20c.

be aware of one scandinavian aggro reg at 0.1/0.2, when i started playing 2-7 he was there, a year has passed, and he is still there.

It may be enough to beat $.10/$.20 but you'll be folding too many hands in position. It's not a bad way to start because it teaches you to start off tight. When you get some practice you can find spots to adjust your game.

hm, you just described a guy that I was thinking about perfectly, except he's Dutch. I've never even seen him playing in the .25 game. it's odd because judging from his stacks he does appear able to afford it.

He might be a dutch, it's been awhile since i watched at his nickname/country. But yeah, exactly, he tilts the crap out of people by 3bet - drawing 3, raise/cap-draw every street against your 3rd nuts only to make THE nuts. I remember making all the decisions against him in 0,1 sec. with ferocious mouse clicks, so if you hear me, B**g*r*, thank you very much for that ultimate Embrace The Variance lesson!
