saw villain pat down a few nines and even a T in multiways earlier but nobody was showing any aggression towards him, just calling and folding, and checking and calling, so that is mostly why this play happened

I think the snow is fine, but I feel like raise pre is terrible because you just don't know if he (the guy you think you can snow) is going to be in the hand.

also, you have no reason to dump the A and not a 3. You might get called by a pair of 4s in the end after snowing, you never know. I think there's hand mentioned recently in this forum where Hero does exactly what you do, and gets called by two pairs on the river. He would have won the hand by breaking his trips on the first draw.

this makes sense.

i wasnt looking for any praise or anything, I just thought it was fun, but youre prolly right, dropping the 3 technically improves my hand to one that wins a showdown if for whatever reason we got there, way more often.
