This hand was dealt in part of my $2.5/5 10-game session.

Villain is passive, a bit "shy" player if you know what I mean...
Im learning mixed games, and 2-7 single is propably the worst game for me. Is this always call? In my opinion this is snap in most of time, but the passiveness of the villain here made me wonder...

closer to a shove than a fold imo. i would only call if his potbet was a tell of some sort. also, 3betting pre may not be great vs an utg open depending on how tight he is.

Yeah calling is the conservative option.

Yeah I'm shoving pretty much all the time. All though I am a bit spew y when it comes to big bet poker.

Any 86 is a monster in NL 2-7 SD.

Against known lags and unknowns im shoving mostly. But if your read is that hes sort of passive or w/e then im not sure how often shoving here is a mistake. This bet is unlikely a blocker coming from a passive guy. Some bluffs turn up here, but again, if hes passive then im inclined to at least take into consideration that "he" thinks hes winning here and then try and deduce what he would consider a good hand to donk with was and why.

FWIW, to me there is no fold option here, call for sure, raise mostly

also if hes opening here I wouldnt 3 bet that often (given your read) since if he is drawing hes likely drawing pretty smooth and if hes not drawing, you could be looking at a 4bet. IMO when passives show strength its usually 1 of 2 things in this spot. They either have it, or they "think" they have it. If this guy has played a good amount of deuce he might have a very good idea of what a strong post draw hand is for this spot. If he hasnt, he could very well be betting any number of hands. Just because hes passive doesnt mean he doesnt know what a wheel looks like

If you think your 3bet pre is good you should ship here 100%. I don't think your 3bet pre is good though. This hand is right on the boarder where I'm not sure jamming or flatting is best. Folding never an option without a ridiculously good read.
