i wasn't watching for the entire time that edge was in the title picture. had no idea he was an 11-time champ. was he that big of a star during those years, or were those the smackdown "world title" reigns of today?

i've never even heard of a big feud or match of his from those days, so did he really do anything of note in those 11 reigns? all i recall is his embarrassment of a spear.

He was by some distance the most consistent all-around guy on the roster for a good five years or so. Am I wrong in preferring a heel authority figure just be absolutely ruthless and villainous? Felt like Big Johnny was far more effective and taken seriously during his feud with Cena, and VMK of the Attitude Era, who told the crowd to STFU when they boo'ed him was the best.
