His acting while trying to get over how dangerous HiaC is was absurd. Somehow I caught that after it aired. Perhaps it's just because I'm jaded from this being the pg era and nothing dangerous ever happens (don't even mention Shane last year). I think it's mostly because I believe everyone knows by now that violent matches, HiaC or otherwise, just don't happen nowadays. Just sad.

He wouldn't have had to if the participants had done so (or been instructed to do so?) themselves. Of course, it's more of a jungle gym these days than a potential career ending experience, but that's not supposed to be the perception.

Could have been Cena's best promo ever if he just walked out right after he said he'd rather be standing in the ring with Taker.

we've had so much Miz/Cena in past (which was good), I'm fine with something different. Could still be very good

I think most in here think Miz vs Cena and instantly think of their I Quit match where Cena got beat up by Riley/Miz for 20 minutes and won with an STF literally < 5 seconds after putting it on Miz. Nothing else of note really happened. Not good.

I do wish Cena had more of a marquee match this year. Like, vs Taker or not facing AJ at Rumble and facing him here.

Well that and the fact that Cena broke Miz' brain for like two years rendering him ****ty and he is only just now recovering.

If the Miz doesn't get a legit title reign this year it will be one of the biggest mistakes the WWE has ever made. The dude is so money on the mic and has improved immensely in the ring.

He restarted a double count out and then rock bottomed Cena to give Miz the win

If I remember correctly, it was a double count out until Rock came out and was granted GM powers and restarted the match. Then he Rock Bottomed Cena and Miz got the pin.

Thank you Wrestlemania thread.

At 27, The Rock shaking hands in an aggressive manner with Austin stole the show. That Mania was the drizzling ****s

Admittedly I had to check my notes, but HHH/Taker was really good here, and Mysterio/Rhodes was also a good match. Even with Snooki and Michael Cole in the ring, I think that barely takes it out of drizzling ****s territory, and its just the ****s. I had it as 26th out of 32

Hour long main event or something else after? Granted I've only watched this and the miz/ Cena promo so maybe I missed something announced

I do remember Rey/Rhodes being good. I thought HHH/Taker was really really bad. The prior year vs HBK it was mostly a finisher fest match. This was the year where it was finisher, break, finisher, break. Hated it. I've rewatched a couple of times to verify this. It's offensive. But that's just my opinion.

Depends who's doing it. Looks good when Owens did it. Probably not the most impactful move if Hardy or another person who weighs as much as a feather does it.
