More wrestlers have cried in public in the last 2 years than in the past 200. I blame Ric Flair; "if the GOAT can cry, so can I."

Or maybe it is something in one of the 'supplements' they are taking. I mean, Corbin was crying at Mania, and he's a monster heel.

Even Flair mostly kept it to very appropriate spots (Arn's shoot retirement speech) until he got quite a bit older. I'm not really anti-crying, but it's obviously terrible for big monsters like Big Show, and he seems like one of those doing it more commonly.

You'd cry too if you had what you thought was an iron clad contract.

Yeah I was wondering this too. All of a sudden it popped up and I had no idea where it came from

Random thought on Styles going over:

What if the initial plan was for them to get tweener reactions for Roman at WM, but then cement him as a face vs heel Jericho post-Mania?

But then they finally gave up, and decided to turn RR heel so they changed up the winner of the F4way?

It's from this thread by Mat Sklansky: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/34...-near-1600803/

He clarified it by saying this post by Cassette was perfect:

"Poker is dying, forum traffic has been cut in half, it's only a matter of time before 2+2 dies (probably years). What's seem like a forum that would be around forever will in fact not be around forever.

This is my translation."

Maybe they plan for Styles to lose to Reigns, then seek a re-match, and have the Bullet Club back him up just in time for Rollins to be cleared for action so that we get a re-united Shield.

Really, though, I just want them to put together the Dusty Rhodes Memorial Six-Man Tag Tournament, with 16 teams:
-the Shield
-Bullet Club
-New Day
-League of Nations
-Social Outcasts
-Wyatts
-some group from NXT
-team WWE Legends
-the Usos and surprise partner Rikishi
-a bunch of black guys like Darren Young and Mark Henry thrown together for no reason other than all being black
-the Dudleys plus some other ECW piece of crap third wheel
-the Lucha Dragons plus one (El Torito?)
-some Zach Ryder-led jobber collective
-John Cena, Sami Zayn, and Cesaro
-the Miz and two guys he recruits who end up getting annoyed with him and leaving him to get his ass kicked
-some random dudes bring brought in for the Global Cruiserweight Series

Lolling at the fact that LoN finally went to 3 guys, like every other group

This. I scrolled through 2 pages of posts before this looking who or what he was +1ing. I couldn't find anything, so I figured it was a brain fart by him. Either that or he had some inside info

Idk, I thought the post about the wrestling forum closing was a tongue in cheek reference to WM being so bad that it no longer had a worthwhile purpose.

We can all just watch TNA and talk about that.

Aren't we already watching TnA?

Half of their former roster is on the WWE payroll now.

Someone else mentioned closing the wrestling forum in the Wrestlemania thread before I did. I was off base with my followup, though. Just can't stand the current (WWE) product.

Reading back over this thread, you guys were way too hard on this Raw. It was actually an above average show despite 2 horrible botches that ruined 2 segments (LOLillian and Tables Match, how does it work?)

Thats basically exactly how they should be using Reigns, as a supremely confident and arrogant tweener who doesn't GAF about the fans and their boos.

At this point with Reigns, the booking has been one step forward and two steps back for so long that the company has lost the faith and trust of the audience. One week he is booked liked Austin, the next two weeks he's booked like Cena or Rock lite again. Rinse and repeat.

If he is consistently booked well and as a consistent character for a long period of time, people might start to warm up to him.

Reigns chilling in the corner while Zayn/Owens/Jericho/Styles were fighting and basically making the

gesture was great and a bigger step in the right direction than beating up HHH ever could be.

It also set him up as a defending champion vs a very over face, had Jericho/Owens/Cesaro won, I'd agree its business as usual, but this outcome + his promo makes it seem like they finally are willing to develop Reigns boring character into something.

i agree w/ daro on reigns. pushing him as a tweener is the right move and probably what they should've done all along. whether or not he's too damaged as a character to overcome the gigantic hole he's in is another story.

i assume they're gonna avoid the pure babyface push in the short term too because otherwise they wouldve just had heel Jericho win. they have to KNOW styles is gonna get cheered (especially in chicago where the next PPV is).

Do people agree that there is a non-zero chance that HHH/Stephanie do something to screw AJ and set up a rematch at Payback?

There is always a non-zero chance HHH and Steph drop in to pollute something that is supposedly important.

ya they should book Reigns as a tweener so if there's ever a big moment with a returning Cena or Rollins you don't know if he's going to hug them or smash them over the head with his belt.

Cena 2.0 won't work.

He's already got the arrogant smirks to pull it off.

The Raw wasn't very good, especially for a Raw after Mania.

The last half-hour (starting with Enzo/Big Cass through the great main event) was spectacular, but the rest of the show was filled with a lot of nonsense.
