(not that this will necessarily change anything other than the name and possibly remove DIVAS REVOLUTION, but still).

An improvement, to be sure, but I wonder how they square a new "Women's" Division with their popular Total Divas show. I just don't see the term Diva vanishing overnight.

I'd like to think that somewhere in the company someone has a remit of "what are the things we need to do now to lay the groundwork for a womens match to be the main event of summerslam or wrestlemania by 2020".

Things like getting rid of the "divas title" and that trampstamp belt are obviously on the to-do list

I think they actually managed to kill almost all of my enthusiasm for Smarkamania last night, which seems impossible given that half of the premise is "hot crowd craps on bad stuff." Will still tune in.

I feel like they might turn Ambrose heel tonight. I don't know where else his current character can go.

Sasha winning the Women's Title specifically tonight has to be at least 50% to happen.

Yeah agree both of those have a decent chance. Styles beating Jericho via roll up also a possibility.

What % does Ryder dropping the title have? I can't get over that ****ing Zack Ryder is going to be in angles again.

Roman called out Cena on Today, if they do an in ring segment on Raw the crowd could be entertaining.

Unless he just comes out and tells the fans to **** themselves, I don't see who they can turn him against that's believable

Oh I don't think it'll be believable or even good. I just think he'll attack Reigns, and in Vince's eyes that will be a heel turn.

Trying to turn someone heel by having them attack Roman in front of the post-Mania crowd would be pretty amazing.

I said it in the Mania thread after Jericho won as well but the only logical reason I can see for them having Jericho go over last night is so that he can be put straight into a feud with Roman tonight.

Then again they'll probably keep Jericho off tv for the next six months.

Wouldn't it make much more sense to wait until a PPV for Sasha to get her title?

Jericho is either getting taken out by Balor Club or Styles goes over at Extreme Rules in a gimmick match

Fair point. The number just went up to being 75% to happen tonight.

There's also the possibility that Styles was brought in to feud with Jericho for the entirety of their remaining careers.

Not sure why the hate for Sasha not winning. This was her first title shot right? What's wrong with the chase? We often complain that angles are over and done too quickly these days. But then we don't get an immediate pay off and it's the wrong result.

That result probably won't be a bottom 10 WWE booking decision in this month alone, but in a Mania sorely lacking for actual feel-good results when that's usually the dominant WM result, it seems wrong to have passed on that one.

That said, I don't fear for Sasha's long-term future at all, so I'm not too bothered by it.

Isn't RR still turning heel pretty easy? Come at the fans, be arrogant, come at Cena. The fans have had trouble getting 100% behind Cena, and they hate RR. Isn't turning RR heel and having him be malicious towards Cena the best way to get the fans to align behind Cena while hating RR?

Seems like a no-brainer to me.

That's just because you failed to embrace Zack Ryder.

That, and I failed to embrace conquering babyface Roman Reigns overcoming the fact that the people running the company didn't want him to succeed.

Or they can feud as face vs. face, then Cena shakes Reign's hand and raises his arm after Reigns wins cleanly off of one spear, after kicking out of 5 AAs

As long as he doesn't ask to try on Roman's flak vest.

I just realized the obvious reason for Zack Ryder to win the IC title

Spoiler:
it's as a vehicle to either get the belt on his buddy Cena who once gave him a US Open Challenge shot, and/or a vehicle to get Cena and Owens feuding again, though that seems unlikely because Sami Zayn.

I don't hate it.
