Some sites have gotten really out of control with misquoting Meltzer and taking quotes out of context.

Now I'm disappointed that WWE didn't even deem the promo to be worthy of its youtube channel. Guess I have to wait to watch it on Hulu.

man, I actually looked for it because it's so talked about. I haven't seen any RAW in like two or three months but I must see Roman and Sheamus attempt to talk. How long does it take to get on Hulu?

You see all the angles, but you don't have the tart tots to play one.

It's usually on Hulu by Tuesday evening. My internet is spotty right now and I can't check if it's up now.

I watched it. I definitely recommend it!!!

I don't understand how or why events are so heatless now. Nobody cared about any of this. How in the world can Vince think that 1) this is a good program and/or 2) Roman is worthy of more than about 15 seconds of talking and/or 3) Roman is anything other than a lower and mid-midcarder. He should be nowhere near the upper-midcard, nevermind the main event, nevermind the fact that Vince wants to shove him down our throats for the next decade+.

I'm convinced that Vince has become George Lucas: Originally awesome, yet now stubborn and convinced that he knows better than his fans. Which should provide us a new hope of sorts: If Star Wars can enjoy (what is by all indications) a hugely successful reboot once Lucas was removed from the equation, then wrestling could experience a massive renaissance once Vince finally releases control.

But the frogurt is also cursed (he's probably not giving up control any time in the next decade).

Does this mean he's going to go back to the Attitude Era and randomly insert Cena into matches over Austin? And since he owns the WCW library too, he can go back and make it so that Nash poked Hogan first.

The frogurt contains potassium benzoate...

My final analogy for Vince is that he's another version Bob Guccione. Guccione obviously made his fortune with Penthouse magazine, but he desperately wanted to be known for other things--muckraking journalism, alternative energy, and unlocking the secrets to human longevity to name a few. He spent his fortune on these pursuits and died broke wanting to be renowned for more than the sleazy pornographer that he was. Similarly, Vince became a billionaire as a wrestling promoter but has always insisted on being known as an "entertainer." I believe one can trace a whole host of WWE abominations to this pursuit: modern-day bad booking, the sad embrace of D-list celebrities for any hint of pop culture relevance and rub, and money-pit enterprises like WWE Films all emerge from Vince refusing to fully acknowledge what made him his fortune. Our present WWE misery would quickly abate if Vince would disabuse himself of this "entertainer" fantasy and return to his wrestling roots.

Not to mention the XFL and the WBF, arguably Vince's two biggest failures. I've commented on this before. Vince has more money than he can spend and is considered to be the greatest wrestling promoter of all time. So he doesn't have much to gain from wrestling, and instead desperately tries to be known as more than 'just' a wrestling promoter.

And certainly some wrestling company should return to the roots of pro wrestling. The closest thing to what used to be called wrestling before Vince brought in 'sports entertainment' on US TV is actually NJPW on AXS. And it is a hit, actually scoring ratings that have satisfied the channel despite just showing matches that aired months and months ago, the results of which can easily be seen in a few seconds on the internet.

The most memorable promos of the year are Reigns promos. Magic Beans, tater tots, suffering succotash. Is this a wrestling show, or a show about cheap food options?

Why it's a serious question. I can't think of which wrestler had a breakout year to deserve it. Not that Roman did last year when he won it either but it's still up in the air since there's been so many injuries and such bad storylines for these guys to be remembered by.
