I wonder if the commentary will get any better once Vince and the magic headsets aren't around anymore.

Not watching, but I'm sure they could find a way to have Steen drop the NXT strap without actually having him lose a match. Triple threat/Fourway/multiway ladder match so he doesn't need to eat a pin, or just have Regal strip him for not being on NXT anymore. Of course Joe will probably beat him for it, but meh.

Just got in and I see that the last post was the first in an hour. I think I'll watch the end of this hockey game.

So Seth Rollins, the weaselly, cowardly champion gets to chose his opponent and decides to put himself in a handicap match. Makes perfect sense.

Watching a bit on DVR. That R-Truth moment was great.

The segments where everyone in a multi-man match slowly come out and each give a sound bite are the dumbest things ever. They even stand out as exceptionally forced and inorganic in today's WWE, and that's saying something.

They were doing the standard "everyone in Money in the Bank comes out and says 'no I'm going to win,' 'no I'M going to win'" crap, and in mid-segment Truth interjects himself, talking about how he has overcome his fear of ladders and was ready.

Something like this, from memory:

Kane: "Truth, why are you out here?"
Truth: "Because I'm going to win on Sunday."
Kane: "You're not even in the match!"
Truth: "Oh. ... Yeah, my bad." <exit stage left>

Owens basically just interrupted Cena's US Title Open Challenge and offered an NXT Title challenge instead. Said whoever came out could choose which belt to challenge for. Neville came out and chose to go after the NXT Title. Then Owens beat him.

The mic part of the segment was whatever, not really up at the level of the other Cena-Owens stuff. The match was pretty good as far as I can tell. I rarely pay good attention during Raw matches.

When Cena was on commentary, I couldn't tell if he was Owen's upcoming opponent or manager.

I thought it was real good, especially the face he made when Kane told him he wasnt in the match. I thought maybe they could of had him come back out and claim he talked to the Authority and he is in the match as well, but it was probably done best as it was.

I thought the best part about this whole segment was after Owens decided to make it an NXT Open Challenge, Cena accepted and Owens denied him. I like good heel work like that

Ryback and Miz's segment was actually decent on raw last night.

But there was one highlight:

Ryback: If big show didn't knock you out before our match, The Big Guy would have taken years off of your career!

Isn't this exactly what punk said his feud with ryback was doing, odd choice of words from ryback

I don't get the hate for ryback. He's funny, in a dumb sort of way; doesn't seem to take himself too serious, and looks like he genuinely enjoys being out there.

It's weird because at wrestling forums the guy's loved and everybody thinks he's underutilized. Most think he's not great in the ring but has great presence and at least a B-A- on the mic. I don't watch enough to form an opinion, I just find it strange because usually this forum falls in line with how others feel about 99% of subjects.

Bubba called them out on Twitter for it and Harper responded and challenged him, so it could easily be a way to get the Bubba Ray involved. Or it could just be dumb.
