After what happened at the end of Raw, Rowan over Cesaro seems like fine booking really. Obviously I prefer Cesaro, but I fully understand this result on this particular show.

Oh I agree with that. I just hate that Cesaro has been put in this position.

I agree, since the mega-push seemed to be on and then it took a wrong turn and ultimately got delayed until further notice. Still, it's clear to me that they still value him. There was a time when HHH got jobbed out for months and months also; I tend to think Cesaro recovers here also.

Probably my biggest criticism of their handling of him at this time is that they shouldn't exclusively have him jobbing. I get the concept, that he's a guy who can put people over and it gives them something of a rub because he's fairly credible, but they should be mixing in wins for him over people lower down the card as well in order to strengthen that. Too many losses in a row and the losses will lose their usefulness to the person beating him, and will hurt him as well.

he beat ziggler twice i think in the build up to the best 2 out of 3 falls clean sweep at whatever PPV it was.

Losing to Rowan is different though. Guess they needed someone decent to give him an instant credibility going into SS

I'm going to set the next person who acts like "losing in a way where you still look great" is jobbing.

Cesaro is the guy who makes other people look awesome. When he wrestlers he's praised in ways that virtually no other worker is by the guys with Vince in their ear.

Yeah- it sure seems like he got slightly depushed 'cause of the interview he gave (just in terms of not being in the SS match... for now), but he's far from a jobber if you're using the word with any sense of reason what so ever.

I obviously wish he was pushed to the moon, but as a fan I can't get too upset about how he's being used. Long term he's going to be fine.

You know, I think its really disrespectful and ****ed up when the fans chant CM Punk when AJ is in the ring and then Brie goes out there and leads YES chants because she has no talent of her own. AJ should kick her in the nuts.

I don't think Cesaro is a jobber and never implied it. Jobbers don't main event PPVs. I think LKJ is right in that WWE obviously values him. I think they know they can make Cesaro hot whenever they want and are using him to get others over that might not have that certainty ie Rowan and Ryback. Like LKJ said, HHH has been through the same thing and so has Orton and many others. Even though I understand the reasoning, I'm still allowed to not like it. As a fan I'd like to see him pushed as a beast rather than losing every week to people I don't enjoy. I know he will eventually have a great run but I'm impatient and want that run now.

It's part of the reason Lesnar's run has been so frustrating for me. Since his return the only new opponent he has had is CM Punk. I'd rather see him work with new talent rather than the same guys he worked with 10 years ago. Cesaro/Lesnar is a dream match for me.

I think that Bryan-Lesnar would have been a certainty, but unfortunately Bryan (and us, his fans) have had bad luck on that point. Just hope that Bryan can come back at the top of his game and still have that match eventually.

Yeah I was really excited for that match as well. Hopefully the recent rumours about Lesnar being done after WM are false and we get a string of a new matchups next year but I'm not getting my hopes up.

lol at that statement ^

That rumour could have been started by this thread for all we know. Rumours are basically the internet saying what they think/hope/could/dont want to happen, and then the rest of the internet discussing it.

If you want to experience rassling like its the 90's where you know what you see on tv and that's it, I think you are going to have a tough time. Avoiding wrestling forums on the internet might be a good idea though.

Mr. Money in the bank will have to visit Lesnar at his house if he ever wants to cash in... not sure why he keeps carrying the case around all the time. It's not like an opportunity is likely to present itself.

hey, I just realized where this story is probably going, and I think I like it

Spoiler:
The Authority just became The Outsiders, and will wreak havoc on whatever they feel like wreaking havoc on -- they have most of the belts so there will be plenty of matches to blow up, they can go for the full locker room assaults on Ziggler and such now

and Sting even gets to be "guy rebelling against the evil group from the outside" again so easy casting there and he can be the one guy they can never get their hands onm obviously leading to the one time Sting-HHH at WM

I'm surprised there hasn't been a grievance filed against Brock Lesnar. He legally should be stripped of the WWE title for not defending it within a 40 day window. The title should have been vacant as of early November.

Isn't WWE a publicly traded company with a board of directors? Not having the WWE champ defending his title will hurt business and thus hurt the shareholders. It's one thing to put the title on a bad wrestler without drawing power, those decisions are subjective and not legally binding, but Lesnar defending the title is a contractual obligation according to the bylaws of the WWE rulebook. This is not only disgraceful but illegal business practice from WWE.

Alright it's definitely time for the banhammer. He's already a previously-banned poster.

http://www.inquisitr.com/1517962/wwe...-cost-cutting/

there are several articles on this matter. The only way to justify Vince's violation of his own rulebook is if he can prove that Lesnar's drawing power supercedes the revenue lost from having a string of PPVs without a championship match. This is a public company with stockholders who are hurting from arguably illegal management operation.
