Back when we did the WrestleMania writeups (which I didn't complete), I was keeping a ranking of every WM match as we went. I had ranked the first 179 matches when I fell off and didn't continue.
Survey says:
Quote:
175. The Undertaker vs. Sid - WrestleMania 13 (0*)
176. Jake Roberts vs. Rick Rude - WrestleMania IV (0*)
177. Jake Roberts vs. Rick Martel - WrestleMania VII (0*)
178. Roddy Piper vs. Goldust - WrestleMania XII (0*)
179. Terri Runnels vs. The Kat - WrestleMania 2000 (0*
Really? I didn't think of myself as being in the hater group for this match. I put it below Roberts-Rude?! That also seems too low for Piper-Goldust. Well, what did I write?

Blindfold Match: Jake Roberts vs. Rick Martel: Shoot me in the ****ing face. I can't believe they devoted so much time to this. As much love as I have for the guy, this makes three matches in four Manias for Jake that I'm giving zero stars to. 0*
Huh. I guess I am in the hate group. I kind of doubt I've seen the match since, and I'm not tempted to fire it up or anything, but it doesn't seem unreasonable for people to have enjoyed it. My own recorded hate for it doesn't quite seem to blend with how I remember it.
