This was at a duty free store right on the international border, Wally. I posit that the reason that this job was weirder than any of my other summer jobs is that a significant percentage of the customers (easily more than half) were Canadian.

In our defence, Canadians who go abroad to purchase anything more than liquor when they can find the same prices on things online more than 80 percent of the time are significantly dumber than the average Canadian.

I'm going to DisneyWorld next January. I love Disney World.

Cheaper and easier to do road trips to the many, many closer cities, and there's never been any specififc draw in Florida for me. And again I've only been in Indiana for 3.5 years.

I'll definitely get there eventually though.

Ive been there for 3 spring breaks growing up and college (Daytona Beach, Jupiter, Miami), once for Disneyworld, twice for Gators games (real college football is rather interesting to an IU alum) and my HS buddy's family owns an island off the gulf coast. Im sure Im forgetting some times too. I dont think Id ever live there but its a cool vacation destination (except Daytona, mehhh)

Yeah, like I never really care about seeking out the beach for a vacation. It would be cool to spend like a day of a vacation there, but I wouldn't want it as the be all and end all. There's other touristy stuff I just like more. I'm sure there's good vacations in Florida; I just exhausted the western half of the country (save for Colorado and New Mexico) in vacations early on and have now started discovering the closer drivable area around me in the Midwest. I'll get to Florida eventually.

In other news, the Hoosiers are pretty good.

Disney World is much greater than Disney Land. Plus, I'll be legal drinking age this time, and I'm going with a bunch of extended family including brothers in law, etc.

I have a feeling it'll just be a big ol' boozefest.
