I've got the "Spam posts week old reddit memes as statuses" person as the worst facebook type by far. God help the ones that do it while also tagging people with "LOL *tagged people* Check this out!".

I'm unsure where "Frequent announcer of gym attendance", "indiscriminate status liker", and "Invites friend list to candy crush saga once a week" all fall on the terrible facebooker list, but they are definitely in the top 5.

Politards are a strong contender in my book. Nobody cares what your political opinions are. If they do care, they would ask. It's such an idiotic negative freeroll to engage in, where the only people who like what you have to say are people who already agreed to begin with, and where you'll actively annoy not only people who disagree, but people like me who get annoyed no matter how agreeable the opinion is because I think it's out of place and that you should get back to your hole.

Admittedly I only get limited exposure to these people because they instantly get perma-hidden from my feed once they start posting statuses of that kind. I might give like one pass where I look the other way. If it's a habit of someone's, then they're not in my feed anymore.

Yeah, that's definitely up there. I overlooked it (probably because I snap hide as well). Also on the list are consistent poster of cryptic sad messages like "Could today get any worse" with no explanation to anything.

Yeah, anyone who engages frequently in that kind of post is pretty terrible as well. Thanks to having a brother who is 11 years older than me (who is hidden from my feed for being even worse than the average politarding idiot, because he's a conspiracy nut), I have nieces who are old enough to do the emo status ****. It's very annoying. I don't hide them like I hide others, because I like to keep up on how they're doing in general, but that stuff makes me roll my eyes hard.

Sweating extra innings as the fan of the away team sucks. 16 innings yesterday for the Mariners, now in the bottom of the 10th again the next day. Nothing like seeing your team's hitters go down 1-2-3 repeatedly and then repeatedly brace for sudden death for three outs.

I can't be the only one who keeps my typing motor skills when I get hammered. I swear some of these others play up their bad typing for effect.

I go in the opposite direction. My typing is bad enough when sober that nobody thinks anything of it when I'm hammered.

I almost wish I at least made some small errors, because obviously my judgment gets worse when I'm drunk and it seems lame to trot out "I was drunk" when I typed out like three grammatically pristine paragraphs that I don't ever remember typing.

Although the last time I was super duper hammered, I did see that I lost pretty much my whole capability to text effectively. I woke up the next day, looked at my texts to try to recap the night for myself, and saw...

Friend: "Hey, are you guys still at Nick's?"
Me: "2"

That was all I sent him. No idea if he actually came out after that.

If I tried to type when drunk, it is more better. When I am at the bar, and rush it, it is worse. I don't even know what I tried to say before. Also, f autocorrect. This took me 3 minutes to type while at the urinal with me penis out. Wtf.

Poster of status: Text me.

Having never seen the first Die Hard, I decided to watch it tonight. From reading about the plot, I thought I would hate it. Not to say that it's a bad movie, just not taste. I was completely wrong. I know there's stuff about recency bias around here, but is this not one of the GOAT movies?

Don't know about "one of the GOAT," but it's definitely very good. As 80s action movies go it's one of the very best. I had a similar experience with Terminator, where I didn't see it at the time, and I'm not a scifi fan nor do I generally assume that so-called classics from the 80s will actually deliver rather than be dated (there's something weird about the 80s where I assume that **** won't hold up, and I don't think this about the 70s, 60s, etc). That said, I eventually watched Terminator and thought it was great.

Definitely one of the best all time actions movies, not just 80s. It's the movie that made Bruce Willis an action star because he was so good in it. Hans was also such a good character.

It's not GOAT or anything but please tell me you have seen They Live.

Yeah I can probably agree with pulling the "80s" out of that. Action is such a weak genre that the GOAT action movies list is a much lower bar to clear than other genres.

I don't really understand why people even opt for self-checkout when they're insanely bad at it and don't really know how to do it. I mean obviously everyone had to start somewhere with that, but it's a really simple process, and you have to know whether you're machine literate or not.

Omg this. Self checkout should take no more than 8 second per item +30 seconds max for payment

I wonder if the people who waste time incompetently self-checking out are the same people who waste minutes driving around looking for a spot that saves them three seconds of walking.
