According to PWInsider, tonight's RAW script was "heavily tweaked" due to the crowds reaction last night at the Rumble in Pittsburgh.

The report says Vince didn't order the the change due to the negative reaction to Orton/Cena/Batista, but rather "in spite of it."

Bryan's about to reach a whole new level of being buried.

Not even Vince can be that deluded.

What does "in spite of" the reaction mean? It's either been "heavily tweaked" due to the crowd OR in spite of the crowd. It can't be both. Your post is contradictory...

Doesn't make sense at all unless they are trying to make Batista into a baby face now even moreso than previously intended due to the crowd hating him so much? Lmao

I'm trying (and I'm sure WWE creative is too) to think of ways they can boom Bryan at WM that avoids the crowd chanting Bryan for the whole night....

Probably just loldirtsheets but if not this could change a lot of the plans for WM.

Spoiler:
- Rob Feinstein of RFVideo has posted the following on his Facebook about Sting signing with WWE…

"I was just informed Sting has signed a deal with WWE in the last 24 hours. I still think personally he will show up after Mania since it seems like Undertaker vs Brock is what they are aiming for. Reminds me when everyone thought Brock would debut in Miami but they waited for Raw."

Having him debut on RAW the night after WM would be pretty aids. Just have Sting/Taker this year, it might not be an option next year for whatever reason.

it shouldn't be an option this year either. seriously way too late to rely on sting to do anything good.

they might want to build sting up a bit and do it next year. i think it would be a little odd for sting to sign a contract just to come in and immediately lose to taker.

that's what I thought, but ATMS the plan is "set in stone" for Taker/Lesnar. Sting would debut either at Mania (during Taker match) or Raw after Mania to challenge Taker. WWE can then build the match for a year.

ATMOS there's a chance WWE will do this Top 5 -

Main Event A - Sting vs Taker HIAC

Main Event B - Cena (w Hulk Hogan) vs Bray Wyatt (w Wyatt Family)

WWE WHC - (c) Batista vs Daniel Bryan (Batista cashes in RR win, with authority permission, on hurt Bryan after Bryan wins the title at EC. Batista turns heel and becomes new Authority golden boy)

Control of WWE (COO Status) - CM Punk vs HHH

Brock Lesnar (w Paul Heyman) vs Randy Orton (w Ric Flair)
Orton gets pissed that Authority chooses to back Batista over him, and attacks HHH (face turn). His punishment is a No DQ match with Brock Lesnar, who is secretly working for the authority.

I guess I could live with that card. I still wouldn't believe that this was all a big plan to get Bryan more over though.

As for Sting:
- try to sign wrestler for 13 years, the last few years of those specifically with a plan for a match against Undertaker at Wrestlemania
- sign him just in time for your biggest show in years (landmark WM, first ppv after network launches), when both wrestlers in question are at the very end of their careers
- debut him the next night on RAW

seems pretty solid to me

They missed the boat with Sting 12 years ago.

I read yesterday he will be used a lot to promote the network and inducted next year.

Lesnar secretly working for the authority is aids and makes no sense. His character is based around Lesnar doing what Lesnar wants to do for no other reason than because he can. To then have him secretly working for the machine and being HHHs lackey is unbelievable imho.

HHH brought him back under the guise of his "best for business" mantra, when in reality Lesnar is working for HHH and the Authority. He took out the Big Show on the orders of the Authority because Show was becoming a problem.

This is a possible angle they ultimately may not explore.

That kind of glosses over Lesnar "breaking" HHHs arm and doesn't address why he would need to be doing what he is told. The broke with no money so will do anything for work angle has already been used on big show and everyone knows Lesnar was a UFC superstar as well as previously being a WWE superstar so why would he need to follow someone else's orders? If I were WWE I would leave his character as is as he can be thrown in pretty much anywhere as needed / wanted and it still be believable. This gives a very easy way to kill off any storyline that isn't working - just throw bork into the mix to hurt someone and hey presto storyline believably killed.

Its obvious where they are going with Lesnar. They place so much emphasis on Show being the biggest athlete in the world and Lesnar dismantles him with a chair, then goes on the rampage on RAW, followed by more random beat downs until Taker returns.

A blind guy could see it a mile off.

Friend of mine is at the Smackdown tapings in Toledo and a few surprises so far:

Spoiler:

1st of all the place sold out without any tarped areas. Last time they had a taping in Toledo for Smackdown the place was virtually empty.

Shield vs. The Wyatts at EC

Antonio Cesaro qualified for the EC beating Ziggler

Titus turned on Darren Young.

Christian rounds out the last person in EC.
