I still refuse to believe that Batista will win but it's becoming hard to deny. PaddyPower not taking bets on Reigns which seems odd.

No Rumble thread yet? This seems to be one event where there aren't obvious winners for the two big matches. Looking forward to this. Don't think I've watched a ppv since SummerFest.

This is gonna be my first live PPV since, IIRC, Money in the Bank.

I know I was wrong last year but again I maintain that the Royal Rumble cant be a bad PPV. Even if the rest sucks the rumble itself is always (except last year) solidly entertaining.

the problem wasn't just that it was terribly predictable, it was that that in addition to it the results were all things we dreaded (rock over punk, cena wins rumble) and done horrible (Rocks "I FINISH THIS") thing

Meh I liked the rumble match last year tbh.

Was a lot better than 2012 aka "Our talent pool is so buried that we'll just get all the commentators to take up 3 spots"

'95 at least had a good winner (HBK) and the historical aspect of the first winner from the #1 spot. But I agree that it was pretty lame.

1990 Royal Rumble has to be one of the worst, giving the sitting WWF Champ (Hogan) the completely pointless Rumble win because he decided to play politics and screw Hennig's push.

If Big Show can't wrestle tonight he will probably be attacked from behind with a chairshot during his entrance. Then Lesnar will F5 him off the stage.

Lesnar needs to look like a monster to set up his fight at Mania.

It's really a shame that Daniel Bryan won't be in the rumble. What is WWE thinking?

Nobody in singles matches will be in the rumble. No Lesnar, no Big Show. Considering the talent at their disposal, this could very well go down as the worst RR of all time.

since this year's rumble is being held on top of the cell, they can't really risk bryan falling off and getting another concussion, even with all the extra spanish announce tables that are being flown in from mexico right now.

HUGE update from my source. I was upset about the RR result (even though I knew what was coming) so I paid my source extra $ for his big WM news right now rather than wait for a discount.

WWE has found a way to make everyone happy. They get to promote Batista vs Orton for the title (why they think that's better than promoting Orton/Bryan IDK) and the fans will still get to watch Bryan win the title at Mania.

Bryan is going to win a preliminary MITB match, and cash in the briefcase later that night on the winner of Batista/Orton to leave WM30 as the champ.
