lol yeah ticket touts can be sucky over here its a bit more weird i bought machinehead tickets from a tout on friday and they were cheaper than at the box office but its illegal to resell tix for soccer and rugby.... god save the queen?

Regrettably, I'm busy all weekend with family commitments, but from what I saw, the CWE show last night brought in a similar crowd size to the show from New Year's Eve.

Well, they pushed me away from watching weekly TV and into only watching the PPVs, and now they appear to be pushing me toward only watching major PPVs. I doubt I'm the only one being crowded out in this way.

~20 hours of modern WWE per year is enough anyway.

I'm listening to Da Meltz's podcast and I think you guys will love this and I especially do since I live on AZ time (west coast time atm). The ppvs are going to be starting an hour earlier instead of going an hour later. When Summerslam happens, the preshow's going to start at 1 or 2pm Pacific time depending on if preshow is one or two hours and the actual show starts at 3pm instead of 5pm as it did last year.

Why do they think longer PPVs are a thing fans want?

Do people want that? I can't imagine being a 13 year old fan and having the attention span for that. And as an adult, I just don't want it.

This sounds odd, but them telling us they're lengthening PPVs makes me want to cancel the network because I know I'm not gonna be able (or want) to watch a show that long every month.

I wish they would go the other way and make the PPVs 2/2.5 hours.

They combined brand ppvs because of the poor advance in ticket sales. It makes sense to go to 4 hours because of this. Gotta feature more people with one less ppv.

Is the combined roster significantly bigger than it was before the brand split? If not, then this seems like a bad, self-manufactured issue where they've somehow forced themselves into feeling like they needed to start putting on mega-PPVs every month with a similar number of workers.

My best guess is that bringing up all the NXT talent the past two years has over saturated it. Adding three new titles (SD Womens/SD Tag/Universal) that need to get on ppv somehow most of the time doesn't help.

Oversaturation is the WWE's biggest problem in almost all areas. (Forcing the talent to adhere strictly to scripted writing is a close second.)

Of course the WWE basically prints money, so they don't care one lick.
