Hopefully that means we get Reigns/Braun at Mania like that feud deserves.

Yeah, despite the fact that wait-and-see is too often a fool's game with WWE, that report doesn't seem like it HAS to be bad.

well, with Reigns beating Strowman last time and facing Brock next, I'm imagining their match here will be the blowoff where Reigns wins again before winning the title at Summerslam. If so, I just hope Strowman can avoid falling into the "creative has nothing for you" hole people like Rusev, Wyatt, Barrett, etc were given once they achieved the "get over, get fed to #1, we got nothing for ya" progression those have done before him.

Though I readily admit I'm rather pessimistic about Raw/Smackdown lately and it could just be me expecting the worst more than it deserves.

What if Brock wins because the plan is now Stroman/Brock for Mania?

Spoiler:

Kind of interesting what that does to Brock. Does he just face Seth now? Would love to see a rematch of Brock/Seth/Cena

Except he didn't get over naturally. The only reaction he gets are cheers from the smarky **** Roman camp. It's not like he's actually any good, if he was he'd be getting heat like good heels do.

lolz. except there are people like me who love him because I want desperately want to see an interesting monster character in WWE. Not to mention he got over crushing Sami and trashing Kalisto. Yes, he's getting cheers because of facing Roman and anyone would so it's laughable to expect him to get "real heat" like "good heels do".

Braun rules and is the best monster they've had in ages.

Miz is basically the only heel who legitimately (intentionally) draws consistent hate from the crowd through great heel work, and he'd be drawing tons of cheers against Roman too. Getting a heel reaction against Roman that also gets Roman a face reaction (so not the Sheamus-Roman experience) is impossible right now. Braun has been great.

That's fair. he could definitely benefit from a different rival.

Paige was at Slammiversary in a mask while ADR cut a promo calling everyone in the WWE "****ing losers".

They broke up and got back together, try to keep up on current ADR/Paige drama please.

I had some work to do on the PC and wanted some background noise so I skimmed Slammiversary out of curiosity. I only watched about 40 mins total but man it's still bad, I didn't finish a single match.

My favorite moments -

It's their only PPV of the year and they don't have their main commentary team call anything. They brought in Don West and some random generic guy.

Chris Masters is now called Chris Adonis and he was in a match. Generic guy kept calling him Chris Masters so Don West would immediately respond by saying Adonis. "Chris Masters is so strong", "Yeah Chris Adonis is really strong". This lasted about 5 mins before they cut both mics for about 30 seconds.

Every time I see Davey Richards all I can think of is him on KO's old talk show saying "we actually wanted to go to TNA" and KO losing it laughing.

Jeff Jarrett returning to the Impact Zone was supposed to be a big deal. He came down the ramp shaking people's hands but no one cared. This girl's reaction and reluctant hand shake was the best moment of the PPV for me.

Jeff Jarrett is the Jeff Fisher of the wrestling world. Just mediocrity across the board results wise with a mentality outdated by about 20 years, yet consistently given ample opportunities by people for ???? reasons.

Leave it to loltna to not only find someone with somehow less upside than Dixie Carter but then also just fold your entire brand into his. Their demise cannot come soon enough.

Not that I disagree that Jeff Fisher should have been bailed on much sooner, but the reason is easy enough to puzzle out. It was 99% making it to a Super Bowl (and nearly winning) and 1% authoritative mustache.
