That whole "not on the roster" thing just seems so stupid.

One fantasy booking I saw that I liked has Ambrose winning the title shot vs HHH. Taker comes in to interfere against Brock, but gets Roman instead, leading to a Roman heel turn to face Taker at WM.

Not exactly logical, but much better than some guy not on the roster.

Sounds like something Russo would do. I'm like, "hey, bro, it's a swerve!".

If Reigns turns it should be something huge, not something that seems incidental. Like turning on Ambrose and putting him off TV for a long, long time with a worked injury. Or getting tired of always being screwed out of the belt and snapping. Or a double turn against HHH to finally get the heel authority figure angle off TV, and to get HHH's Raw persona in line with his NXT persona and social media persona while simultaneously getting Reigns more in line with his natural personality.

Stop making sense! Reigns needs to stay face and Overcome The OddsTM and win the title to a ticker tape parade at WM.

Yeah the reason Reigns isn't over is because he hasn't overcome enough odds. What they need to do is have a 50-1 match just called "Roman Reigns".

Im really really really hoping Vince is tone deaf enough to have h go over at WM and roman win the title the next night at Rawlemamia

Oh man that would be glorious

i think it's hilarious how vince's strategy for protecting reigns over the last month or so has basically been to keep reigns' time on Raw extremely limited and not make him the focal point of any segment or match. reigns basically went from having one long segment and 3-4 short segments and match where he overcomes unbelievable odds to having one short segment and a match where ambrose is the focal point.

like you would think not being able to put your top star on TV for more than a few mins without crowd becoming angry or apathetic would be a sign that maybe he's not cut out to be a top star.

And people say that heels never win at WM. Heel win incoming with Mr. Reigns.

The fact that WWE try to portray Roman as the face in this feud is absolutely ludicrous and one of the worst storylines I've ever seen. I don't think for a minute that that's an exaggeration.

Remember when The New Day was the literal woat because they were being pushed hard as happy go lucky babyfaces with absolutely 0 edge?

Reigns is that x infinity, a heel turn will do wonders for him

I think they just need to suck it up and commit to a Reigns face reign.

My first scenario is that Reigns beats HHH, thanks to interference from Rollins, who could be able to do a run-in and use a foreign object without taking a bump. Tease dissension between Reigns and Ambrose before unveiling a Shield revival. Then have HHH bring in the Bullet Club as his weapon to take down the Shield.

My second scenario is that you let Reigns hold the title until Cena comes back and Reigns turns either to avoid losing to Cena or because he lost the title to Cena.

How I would try to salvage this disaster (see: zero chance of this happening)

H opens the PPV by announcing he's vacating the title and that the triple threat match is for the title and the authority's HAND PICKED CHAMPION is already in the match

Wyattference takes out Bork leaving ambrose v reigns for the title

H walks down to the ring teasing standoff between roman and h while ambrose is staggering

H and reigns beat down ambrose

H raises reigns' arm to close the PPV over fallen ambrose

Ambrose v Heel Reigns (c) to close the PPV

H and Heel Reigns beats down Ambrose, rollins returns and turns on h, Ambrose wins title

If they won't do the ideas I suggest, then they should do the next best thing and troll the hell out of that Raw crowd.

Has there been any point in the last 5 years where the forum has been this collectively bitter? I think maybe when Bootista won the Rumble but I'm not so sure.

The only available options are to become increasingly bitter or to stop watching. That's just where the product is.

I'm probably done with the Network after WM. I haven't had cable since Summer (and haven't watched or frankly missed Raw since). Have held onto the Network this long out of apathy more than anything, but unless WM is a decisive turn in the product, then it's GJGE for me.

I probably will never cancel the network. I dont even notice that im paying for it with the auto payment. Unless I lose my Internet or become jobless I will keep it just because

That's the genius of the Network. They can focus on things other than the quality of the main on screen product because they don't need to persuade people to sign up to buy 40+ dollar PPVs every month.

I know it's been mentioned but watching the Stone Cold/Big Show interview and it's quite good. Would really be awesome if Show had been booked in a manner commensurate with what a great guy he seems like.

Big Show is a great example of somebody whose natural personality is so much better than the characters he has been asked to play. He would have been great in an old school company that didn't think writers and/or two-bit gimmicks were needed for every wrestler.

He is.

But then he isn't.

And then he is.

WCW initially trying to make people believe he was the son of Andre the Giant is exactly the sort of thing that an old school company would have done. Or they would have cast him as some sort of savage, silent, possibly illiterate brute and stuck him with a manager as a mouthpiece.

I cancel the network every other month or so. I would keep it for the old stuff, but I just binge for a month, then skip paying for the Fast Lane type shows, and hop back in for the rumble or wrestlemania.

It's cheapskate behavior, but fk them.

SCSA trending on FB because he tried some "fancy cocktails". I love how if you click it, the tab says "steven austin".
