1) Fits the description of "not on the roster right now"
2) I would care to see against Taker at WM

It does seem like a random blurry guy from the airport would fit this description, and would make sense as a one-off that WWE would like to do again after their Mania match last decade.

That "blurry guy" also said he'd like to retire in a match against Taker at WM (not specifically 32). Though, I'd put a lot of money against it. Taker vs. Mysterio would be hilarious and great. Let Taker go out in a squash match.

The announcers stated that the security was there to protect everybody else from Goldberg. In terms of backstage reason for them doing it, I think somebody came up with the idea purely for aesthetics.
