All the after match shenanigans are more about putting Cena over (what a great guy!) than his opponents. Patting someone on the back also reinforces the notion that he's higher status than them. Remember the big stink NVG made when Phil Hellmuth shook Daniel Colmans hand after the One Drop? It's the same thing

PS Hellmuth = 14 X WSOP champion, Cena = 14 X World Champion. 20 years from now, who will have the most titles? Hard one to call. I say Hellmuth.
