I don't think I could have said this better myself.
ROH I find to rarely be completely terrible because the athleticism is generally there, but the matches almost never have any kind of epic feel to them because it is just a bunch of showing off that athleticism in a rather jumbled or random seeming way, or in just a boring and poorly chosen way. It's something like a jazz band where you can tell they are talented in a way by say, the solos, but the songs they select to play just aren't very good.
