I don't think you're disagreeing with me fwiw. She'll be the corny character that kids love but she'll be an improved version of Emma because she can wrestle and crowds seem to connect to her (though we can say this about a lot of past NXT call-ups so we shall see).

I think Emma has a much better in ring style than Bayley.

Been thinking this for a long time. If they mess up Bayley's main roster promotion, they are flushing so much money down the toilet.

Bayley is terrible on the mic. I don't know that her gimmick gets over on the main show and if Vince cared about the work that much, Cesaro would have been champ.

Bayley isn't a great worker, her best asset is by far her character which could very well become female Eugene on the main roster

My mistake, I suppose. I can't recall ever seeing her wrestle*. Just kind of assumed that she got the gimmick she did on the main roster and subsequently sent back because she wasn't good. That and Bayley seems good.

*I think she wrestled at the last NXT special but I remember none of it. Same for the other NXT special she wrestled on.

AJ Styles skipped NXT and still is booked horribly on the main roster, losing due to distraction finishes and trading wins. Even though the only stand out thing about him is his great wrestling, in storyline he's such a great wrestler that he can't focus on his matches.

Why? Looks are just personal preference, and she has a nice body.

Bayley has an "it factor" (as corny as that sounds) that allows her to connect with audiences and she's made for the PG era. I'll be impressed if WWE finds a way to screw it up on the main roster.

Look at her work with Nia Jax compared to her work with Sasha and Becky.

I think Nia Jax is a bad example because of her size and talent but I agree with your point.

I think people are ok with Bayley's "PG-ness" now because she hasn't been over exposed and isn't on every NXT show. You rarely see her do in ring promos and the only other time she talks are in 30 sec backstage segments. Those promos and segments are usually the same old recycled NXT "I've travelled the world/this has always been dream" story or just cringey pandering to fans. If she gets to the main roster with the same gimmick and is doing this stuff twice a week on TV then it's going to get very old very quickly.

Sasha is small but she can still make her moves look impactful. I think that's a major aspect missing from Bayley's in ring work.

i can honestly say i'm genuinely excited for h/reigns. for better or worse it's going to be amazing. either the wwe is paying attention and they finally work to right the roman ship with some kind of insane double turn (better) or vince is defiant and decides roman will be the star whether the fans like it or not and 100 thousand people are booing the everloving **** out of the anointed #1 babyface to close wrestlemania (worse)

Is this really the WM card? Wtf? No Cena, no DB, no Rollins. I guess the Taker/Shane is intriguing and Brock/Dean is cool (but seems random as ****). If there was ever a year to get Austin this would have been it. This is the least excited I have been for a WM since as long as I can remember. How weak is the product that the main event is HHH vs Roman, lol. Still going to tune in, and with such low expectations it might turn out ok.

Time for new talent, not a guy who retired before Sasha Banks was a teenager.

Austin is probable to appear in some way on the show but he isn't interested in wrestling a match.

There are now 4 pre show matches set for Sunday as they officially moved the Kalisto/Ryback US Title match has been moved to the first hour of the pre show. That means that there are only seven matches for the main card, so I guess we are in for another long in ring promo like they had last year.
