I really don't see Jericho coming back tonight. BUT if he did it would be the most epic of all the returns/surprise entrants, in my opinion.

I love Cole as a heel, I think he's great but I don't think he should be the play by play guy. Sometimes he totally kills the match by his announcing (ie HBK vs Undertaker at WM). He would be great as a color commentator.

Id take JR any day, but Cole has really raised his game since NXT 1 happened and he built this gimmick.

You remind me of one of the peeps who hate Vicky cos all she does is say excuse me and people boo her cos she is annoying. Cole is over and he isnt meant to be likeable. The whining and double standards you hate is the entire point.

The anniversary ep where JR turned up was the lowest of low points for Cole. That was OTT and it ruined a momentous one off return and really ruined the US title match that was happening too..

Cole doing a great job here IMO, pointing out how Lawler and Striker supported Edge breaking the rules but don't like it when Miz does it. Exactly how a heel commentator should behave - they should be hateable, but with just enough logic for it to be believable.

It's why JBL was my favourite heel announcer of the past few years, he could always come up with great reasons why he felt the heel deserved to win - the kind that would make marks think, "maybe he's right, but I hate him too much to accept that I agree, so I'm just gonna root for the face harder because FU JBL".

Cole is awful. Just so so awful. I knew Ventura and Heenan. I grew up with Ventura and Heenan. I loved Ventura and Heenan.

Cole doesn't deserve to be in the conversation as a heel commentator. He's like a worse Bischoff.

I watch the WWE twice a year. Royal Rumble & Wrestlemania. Do you guys that watch wrestling regularly support the decision re: Cole's involvement? He's ruining this PPV for me. And I LOVE Royal Rumble.
