Truth can't travel to Canada but MVP can?

Something doesn't seem right about that.

Daniel Bryan is singlehandedly making Raw just a little bit more watchable.

By the way, I do love that Michael Cole picks on him for being a vegan.

Yeah, tbh im not sure id watch Raw if it werent for Bryan's continuing quest as the anti-superstar.

If someone works out how to program VLC to skip forward through a video until it recognises Ride of the Valykries im largely stuck with the rest. Funny how i can cut almost half of the show out and not miss anything.

I would guess it is due to different convictions and different reactions. Drug dealing bad, armed robbery also bad but allowable.

Mayor: Do you run into any extra trouble with the travel, especially the international travel, because of your record?

MVP: Absolutely. There are some countries that I’m not allowed into — Japan being one of them. When I go to Canada, there’s all kinds of legal paperwork that has to be done. There’s a special permit. For the most part, it’s been almost 20 years since my conviction and I haven’t been in trouble. There’ll be times I’m in the airport, they do a background check when I’m going to another country and they pull me to the side. Take me into a room and check my stuff out. But I understand it. Not that I agree with it. But I understand it.

Prob doesnt help that a couple of years ago Truth tried to enter Canada without going through these legal loopholes and got turned away at the border.

amazing indeed.
Most would have gone for Randy from My Name is Earl. Respect for repping the View Askewniverse.

Also it was a picture of a schooner

I'm holding out hope for them to actually do something worthwhile with CM Punk also.

By the way, I haven't seen this discussed here...Bryan vs. Ziggler should be a good one at NOC. It sure makes me wonder if they're headed for a unification of the US and IC titles now also.

Seems unlikely. They had US/IC match last year too. (With Miz/Morrison.)

Yeah, the Bryan Ziggler should be a great match. It should have some pretty sick mat wrestling with counter and recounter moves. As much as i find the Vicky stuff entertaining i really hope she doesnt make the ending suck. Bryan winning by DQ because of her somehow is my expectation however.

I wouldnt read too much into this raising the chances of unification. As Tiger said they had Miz and Morrison in the exact same match last year. Also fwiw i personally consider unifying the mid card belts a mistake that hopefully they dont make. Right now the US title has a lot of value thanks to Miz and Bryan and the IC belt whilst a little goofier and more proplike has had a good year passing through the hands of Jericho, Rey, Morrison, Kofi and now Ziggler all with pretty good reigns.

Hopefully Punk and Bryan get into it after Bragging Rights. Ive never seen a Punk/Bryan match and they have the makings of the perfect feud. Its just not easy working out where they will go in promos given Bryan is a tea total Vegan and isnt the poster child of rockstar excess, lol. The matches however would be siiiiiiiiiiiiiick.

re: promos between punk and danielson,

easy imo. punk is straight edge and is not afraid to tell you so. danielson, while not straight edge, believes the same things as punk, but will not belittle people based on his beliefs.

there are so many ways to go from their.

Really looking fwd to this SD match

Spoiler:
Morrison v Del Rio

Also, theres < 10% that Kane gets a complete sweep of the UT in their PPV title matches right? So Taker champ again? fml Set up a feud with Edge again?

It depends, personally id book Taker to lose then have him go on a "soul search" journey from the bottom up, maybe setting up a GoldBerg "you have to beat everyone to face me again" storyline or similar to Angle where he forces himself to face the entire roster and prove himself again - basically have him work his way through the roster until he faces Kane at WM.

Probability is Taker wins or Kane self DQs with Bearer, but they certainly dont have to do this and could set up some interesting long term storylines.

Hard to dq oneself in a Buried Alive match, no?

But seriously, Kane's work has been good enough recently that it wouldn't surprise me to see him go over Taker again. They could stretch his run to Mania if Taker need the time off.

That'll never happen, but it could be decent.

Only one more day until Impact! It's been years since I've sat the day before a wrestling program and thought "damn, wish wrestling was on tonight". Takes me back to the glory days of the Monday night wars. God I hope they can keep this momentum going.

I liked Impact last week but it would have been nice if there had been some wrestling on it.

I agree with regards to the fact that they should keep two midcard belts. They should do this even if they unified the world titles. The roster is too big to keep it at one midcard belt like they used to.

By the way, it still makes me sad to see that in this day and age, five guys could hold the same belt in a year and have their reigns all considered to be "pretty good." I'd give anything to see the majority of title reigns to be going past the six month mark like they used to.
