I don't understand the apology segment at all but damn I'm loving the rest of it. Entire show minus whatever that was that Khali was a part of was really good.

The only point of that Khali segment was to affirm their company policy of burying new champions as quickly as possible.

They were able to do it in a quick segment since it was just the divas champion.

wwe needs canned heat for the non-smarks out there. 10 years ago the crowds would have been booing the **** out of that. Vince is pretty celearly the GM and just got doubled crossed by NXT after they did him a favor by beating bret/hart dynasty in exchange for guaranteed contracts.

HHH
Michael Cole
Jim Ross
Bryan Danielson (only for the LOLs)

I doubt it, them attacking Vince like that pretty much spells it out for everyone that Vince is not the GM.

The last thing Raw needs is another heel, so I doubt that. It would also make 0 storyline sense.

They won't bring back Jim Ross as a heel (nobody is going to boo him).

That would leave Michael Cole, unless there's some really obvious name we're all missing. It would also tie in very well to his prior storyline with Bryan. In fact, when/if Cole reveals himself as the accomplice/GM/whatever he is, it may be evidence that the whole Bryan firing was a (very elaborate) work (though I'm still thinking it's a shoot).

unless JR is coming back (he's not), there's no chance they're gonna take cole off of play by play. apparently H^3 had some setback with his injury and is gonna miss summerfest...seems the most logical way to keep him in the picture

imo it's either H^3 or bryan. although bryan wouldn't make much sense since there's been limited to no mention of his firing beyond the smarks so i don't really know how over he'd be

Who said it would take him off play by play? He'd simply play the heel announcer. They've kinda been teasing that for awhile anyway.

It's absolutely not HHH. It doesn't make a lick of storyline sense for it to be him. Besides, HHH is filming a movie right now anyway, so he's not going to be on TV anytime soon.

It's also important to note that there's no guarantee that the mystery GM will turn out to be a heel or associated to the nexus group. That was never explicitly said during the broadcast.

Based on previous history, I think the anonymous GM is none other than Vince himself. Vince is notorious for major swerves like these, and I think this is another one of his big ones. The beatdown at the end of RAW makes it look like he isn't the GM but we will see.

Is there any chance it can be Paul Heyman? Or did he permanently burn a bridge with Vince? He'd be the perfect mastermind behind all of it, and could say he did this because of Vince destroying ECW for NXT, etc.

I thought about Paul as well but I think his days in WWE are done.

i doubt it would be dwayne for the same reasons that we dont think that its JR, it would have to be someone who fans would treat as a heel, and rock would be the farthest thing ever from that.

Rock could get over as a heel in about one minute. Plus, half the kiddies probably have never seen him wrestle live.

Again, not seen the show yet, gonna watch later, but it is a name worth considering with him saying he was gonna come back for "something special", with him on a pretty light filming load right now and the BIG difference between Dwayne and JR is JR wanted an off screen job but the Rock has specifically mentioned they have been talking about him having a short role since the last quarter of last year (initially planned in the guest host role).

Again, i dont know the details, but his name certainly cannot be crossed off the list and without further info seems WAY more likely than JR, Cole and Dragon. Also whilst Vince did come back for some short segments he did promise the board at their AGM that he would take less of a role onscreen with no plans to make any return after the Wrestlemania segment. Obv things change and his role is unlike any other CEO of any other company but it further adds weight against it being Vince himself who is the mystery GM.

I think it actually could be Danielson. It would be a funny way to keep him "on" the show while the whole thing blows over.
