Id really like to see Rey get a shot at the belt sometime soon. A Swagger/Rey match would be pretty sick with the classic combo of a big technical worker against a small high flyer.

Speaking of big, was anyone else shocked how little difference there was between Show and Swagger. He wasnt face to face but it showed just how tall that dude is when he was barely looking upwards at him.
Don't forget that the next PPV is the Fatal 4 Way and it's been confirmed that the WWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championship will be contested under Fatal Four Way rules. I could see Swagger coming in as champion, after beating Big Show at Over The Limit, and facing Big Show, Rey Mysterio, and Christian for the title at the next PPV.

Not heard the interview or read what he said but im going for a mix of:

a, it was sexist and Dixie loooooved hearing that
b, he ripped on all women wrestlers and when the KOs outdraw the men im sure they all loooooooved hearing that and told Dixie how pissed off they were with that
c, Kong still has friends in TNA and this was the straw that broke the camel's back and there was just a mass of workers hating on this
d, he just acted like a ****** and generally made TNA look bad

d>>>>>>>a>b>>c is the kind of ratio id expect.

Makes sense.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not BTLS super fan 99 over here, I listen to his radio show occasionally and enjoyed the comedic aspects he brought to the show.

I just figured that with being Hogan's buddy, and being able to give them a bunch of free advertisement on his show, plus the fact that him being dumb/controversial would be obvious to anyone whose listened to him for 10 minutes would make him pretty much unfireable.

Yeah, Show stands 6'10" whereas Swagger is a legit 6'5". Show's posture is partially to blame I think.

It seems TNA is in desperate need of ratings and are willing to do anything for it. They've announced a World Title Match on Impact this week. Here is what they are saying:

"Which of the leading vote-getters will get a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Rob Van Dam on Monday's live iMPACT? Don't miss the huge broadcast on Spike at 8/7c!"

Desmond Wolf and Jeff Hardy are neck and neck at 30% each.

Should I write a script to keep voting for Desmond every few seconds? Voting is unlimited on the website.

BTW I'm completely disgusted on how WWE is treating Daniel Bryan. I had thought it would be virtually impossible to screw up the signing of Bryan Danielson but WWE's treatment of him has dispicable. I read that he's 0-9 in NXT, wtf? How the hell do you screw up Bryan freaking Danielson???????

I have now lost hope that at some point he's going to beat Miz for the US title (as was originally planned). After seeing Miz's recent performance with Bret Hart, Miz is poised for super stardom.

I will keep voting for Desmond Wolfe too. I doubt he will win against RVD but he definately deserves the shot.

This is WWE's way to build up Daniel Bryan. He isn't going to be eliminated anytime soon, and was #1 in the Pro's Poll vote. He is long overdue for a win and may get one soon off Michael Tarver. He also had a great showing against Chris Jericho earlier in the season. Bryan will be a future star in the WWE.

Sadly I don't think storylines nowadays would ever be as good as Barry Horowitz first win. I always loved Barry with his little pat in the back, loved it.

CM Punk attacked by female fan at show

There was an incident with a fan that happened during Sunday's WWE house show in Johnson City, TN. According to an eye witness, the fan (who was a female) attacked CM Punk and she was ejected from the arena almost immediately. Punk handled the situation well despite the fan slapping the “hell out of him.” No word on what type of legal charges that fan maybe facing.

Report: WWE/WCW legend in Orlando

According to PWInsider.com, former WWE and WCW superstar Lex Luger is in Orlando and expected to play some sort of role on tonight's Impact.

What's funny is Horowitz actually won some matches in the WWF during the 80s. There's a YouTube video of him teaming with pre-Brooklyn Brawler Steve Lombardi to defeat pre-Genius Lanny Poffo and another random jobber.
