Signed up for wwe network last night. First match I watch was undertaker mankind HIAC... Just wow. Then my favorite match of all time from when I was a kid. WM6 HOGAN v ultimate warrior... That match is no where as good as I remember it being :-(

Nah that was a pretty great match. Not a technical masterpiece obviously but the atmosphere/storytelling was off the charts and it was a very worthy WrestleMania main event.

I've said it before, but Hogan *almost* kicking out at 3 was such a fantastic finish, one criminally underutilized by bookers these days.

This match also illustrates the sad fall of the IC Title. At WM VI, the IC Champ main evented vs. the WWF Champ. At WM XXX, the IC Champ is in a Battle Royal.

It was definitely great storytelling at the atmosphere was amazing. When I was like 8 my parents bought me a VHS of ultimate warriors greatest matches and this was one of them. Probably watched it 10xs and its fun to be able to watch it 20 years later.

Mentioned it in a thread in the past so apologies for shamelessly reusing material, but the Kevin Sullivan-Chris Benoit feud had the component of Benoit stealing Woman away from Sullivan on-screen, and Sullivan (who was on the booking team) wanted them to sell the angle IRL so he insisted on them checking into hotels together on the road. This sparked a real affair, so the writing became reality. The joke became that Kevin Sullivan booked his own divorce.

Network will be even better still once those work on things besides the computer stream. They don't work on the XBox right now, but at this point I'm just grateful to be able to see all non-BATB PPVs on there.

Wandered onto WWE.com and think it's slightly interesting 17 people have been entered into the battle royal so far and Khali isn't one of them. Kinda but not wholly surprised at some of the names already in as I sort of expected them to have their own matches and I'm not expecting double duty out of anyone.

Kind of sad that at Royal Rumble every year they will say 2 men have won from the #1 spot but never say who. I had to go look it up/watch it because I didn't watch wrestling during that period. The 04 Rumble was pretty sweet.
