I'd say Jeff+RVD>Hogan WCW since it still took 2 years for the war to start after Hogan joined, while Jeff and RVD can get some people into watching TNA right away.

Firstly since it was asked recently. WNW has run the report (which seems confirmed as official WWE news now) that MITB will not be happening at Mania and the PPV of the same name will be built around the concept.

Honestly i love MITB so look forward to seeing what they do building a PPV off its back. It makes Mania slightly less attractive to purchase but they picked the right year to do it with a strong card. Will be interesting to see what they build to take its time slot, i presume this year all titles will be contested. What will be interesting is if they make an effort to get guys like Christian and Shelton on the card in some way since they were a lock on that payday if MITB went ahead. I mean they did a lumberjack match last year just to get the entire roster on the PPV so they could pay them the bonus.

Yeah, thats the first bit we have on TV. Something about that phone call of Hogan to RVD's radio thing felt like a work too, but regardless, i just cant see that one sided phone call to Hogan being about anything but RVD though i considered it might be Tommy Dreamer at the time, but he debuted at the first Evolve event which involved him brawling with Jimmy Jacobs so him going to TNA seems less of a lock than it did back in Jan.

Btw, Shannon Moore has been reported to have signed with TNA, so that adds further weight to Jeff walking free in March since plan A was for them to work as a tag team initially.

No MITB? GFY, Vince. That's an awful idea. You take one of the best matches year-in and year-out, and you'll probably replace it with a six-Diva tag match that will undoubtedly lose your crowd at the biggest PPV of the year.

speaking of which, I got a little behind on my ROH and just saw Young Bucks vs American Wolves. A little sloppy in places but definitely the best actual wrestling I saw this week.

I can't really tolerate any of the angles going on in ROH right now though.

He has been a jobber since 2008. I think he can still work at the top and doesnt seem to be nearing retirement, he may be 38 but sting is 50, but at this point i cant see him being all that peeved with his spot on the roster and if he was going to go back to ROH he would have done it years ago surely.

I mean he did slip back down the ladder a bit since Hogan came in but he had a DUI last year and still went on to have two PPV main events after that and he clearly has friends at the top (inc AJ who probably is the biggest reason he got those main event matches) even if Hogan and Biscoff arent included on that list (fwiw i dont know if they are or arent).

Within a few months when they start moving through storylines maybe he will be called on again but I wouldnt be shocked if he is just happy working a fairly light schedule for a solid paycheque and some crowd love when he finally gets a good match.

I mean Ultimate X match returns at Dest X after Lockdown so he is a lock for another PPV payday on that, then the World X Cup is a couple months later if they do it this year (it seems to be once every other year so its due) and he is a lock for that and with nothing for him to do in the world title scene they can drop him back to the X Div title scene if they need a great heel to get some face over or form a new tag team with someone else. I mean his versatility has to work in his favour even if he isnt getting those wins right now.

Yeah this match was great. Pretty cool to see Young Bucks in both organizations. TNA has also allowed the Motor City Machine Guns to appear in ROH for one of their upcoming shows. I wonder what that's all about.

I can't imagine those 4 matches being more then 2 hours, they gotta add a US Title or Tag Team match, then what? Possibly a Bret Hart promo? Maybe something else? This PPV seems pretty small so far

Ive not seen SD yet, but yeah, weird how little has been revealed on the card. Presumably they will throw a Miz and MVP US Title match on the card but given they can book the chamber matches to any time they want its not so weird as if they had 4 normal one on one matches booked on the card going into the PPV.

Ya, I remember hearing that too, but why would you not reveal 2 big stars facing off before hand? Seems useless I'd think, that'd be a good match at least...
