HH had such a great history of weird things happening at that PPV. Be it the Yeti and the Giant double teaming Hogan, DDP/Goldberg not finishing before the PPV ended, and Vince Russo's debut. It seemed like almost every year something worse than the year before happened.

95 = yeti (seriously wtf)

96 = piper's return promo cut off

97 = ppv ends when a fan in sting facepaint jumps the rail and climbs the cage and gets his ass beat

98 = cut off end of ddp/goldberg (and had the hogan/warrior abortion as a co-main event with the botched fireball)

99 = one of the very very few wcw ppvs (not just HH) that had a main event with no run-ins and a clean finish, but somehow goldberg and sting both made their entrances and were about to start the match when sting realized there was no referee and had to tell the cameraman to get one out there - no kayfabe, there just somehow wasn't a referee in the ring for the main event of the ppv

00 = wcw in 2000

and 92 was the coal miner's glove main event

Oh I see what you mean. But yeah, like Phill said, they could easily completely change the plans now that Barrett's out given that they pulled the MITB match rather than just giving the briefcase to someone else. This suggests they don't want to push anyone new so may end up giving Jericho the prolonged feud with Punk which would pretty much have to start with Jericho winning the belt at WM.

I'd still put Punk as the slight favourite though.
